I was really pleased to receive this scraper, It came well packaged and presented. First impressions were very good, The scraper seems very well made and good quality. We wanted to redo the bathroom, Which means a lot of tiles to remove, I was dreading it... I then saw this scraper. Wow what a difference one of these makes, It is so quick and saves so much time. I'm very happy with it and would definitely recommend to others.

Really good quality

This scraper makes light work of removing old tile, linoleum, concrete mortar, and even stubborn thinset. It tackles tough jobs quickly and efficiently, saving me tons of time and effort compared to manual scraping. The heavy-duty construction ensures it can handle even the most demanding jobs without breaking a sweat. The shank is compatible with a wide range of rotary hammer drills. The 300mm x 150mm blade size gives me a good surface area to work with, while still offering good control for more precise scraping.

Firecore SDS Max Floor Scraper Heavy Duty 300mm × 150mm.I had been in the tiling trade for 40 plus years and have had to remove/strip numerous floors and walls in preparation for new tiles.This scrapper is just the job for making life that job much easier, it is still not an easy job but it will cut down time from potentially days to hours.The quality of this scraper is way better than anything I have seen or used in the past.The blade is made from SK85 carbon steel and will last or at least stay sharp and flat for way longer than most blades.Be aware that the chuck fitting is SDS max and not the standard SDS this might mean it doesn't fit your drill, so check first.Overall, this is a high quality scraper that will make removing tiles or in particular tile adhesive so much easier, there isn't many jobs in tiling that are as laborious as removing tile adhesive, this will certainly help with the time it will take to achieve a good surface for your new floor or wall covering and can also save money you might have to pay to have floors self levelled or walls re-skimmed with plaster.Although this is designed to go in a drill you can also use it as a hand tool, especially on wall tiles and adhesives, the weight of the tool will help it slide right under the adhesive but always keep the blade as flat to the surface you are working on as possible, you are trying to seperate the adhesive from the floor or wall and not trying to chisel it off.I just wish I had one of these 40 years ago.

I haven't had a chance to use this chisel bit, but opening it up initially gives the impression of a heavy-duty, sturdy, and durable tool that would handle heavy jobs very well. It seems versatile and ideal for removing tile, concrete or adhesive materials. It is premature to comment on its longevity now. If there is anything worth mentioning, I will update my review.

Nice quality. Built well. Sturdy and robust feel to it. Used it to remove a handful of tiles from a window ledge and it performed perfectly, without chasing out half of the plaster in doing so. Very pleased with it so far.

Really well packaged for transport, despite not being a delicate item at all!High quality, really substantial floor scraper, with an innovative lock nut fastener so the blade attachment fixings don’t come loose. The SK85 high carbon steel blade gives a claimed 30% less wear and tear, certainly looks substantial and looks like will give good life.It comes with a sharpened edge to cut under material faster and more efficiently.Note this is the SDS Max system, not the more common SDS Plus system.

Excellent product for removing adhesive.

Article acheté pour décoller une 20aine de m2 d'opus en extérieure sur 2 journées.A parfaitement fait le job. Pas de signe de faiblesse avec un marteau-piqueur puissant (17J).Reste encore très utilisable mais nécessitera un affûtage de la lame pour plus d'efficacité.Je recommande ce produit

Das Meißelblatt war bereits bei der Ankunft beschädigt. Sieht nach Stahlguß aus und macht wenig wertigen Eindruck.

Je suis extrêmement déçu. J’ai reçu ce grattoir et 30 minutes à peine utilisé, le truc est complètement mort. En plus on ne trouve même pas la lame de grattoir qui se change. Donc rien ne vaut un vrai burin.
