My Hero Academia: Season Two Part One [Blu-ray]

My order came on time and I'm amazed it came with the slipcover considering this release's been out for a couple of years now and it's hard to find. It's great. 5 out of 5 star purchase for sure

This box set is a very worthy edition for any anime collector and Hero Aca fan. The box is well made with immaculate quality. Definitely worthy of showing on a shelf. I like how it matches the season 1 box set (which goes for an insane amount of money now). It comes with cool bonus items like the All-Might keychain, character cards, and artbook - my personal favorite.As far as the second season itself goes, it is better than the first. I am a sucker for shounen tournament arcs so the first arc in season 2 was a delight for me to watch. The fights are great, and the animation is even better. If you love the characters and story from season 1, you will definitely want to pick this up. If you haven't seen anything about it, I highly recommend watching season 1 first.I will give this a 4.5 out of 5, only because of the decision by Funimation to split the blu-ray season 2 into two parts - forcing collectors to shell out even more money just to own 1 season.

Refer to my season 1 review if you want to hear my enthusiasm and love of this show.Season 2 is just as excellent as the first; a continuance of the originals tale. It is heavily focused on class competitions and ultimate a battle tournament.As a new fan of the show, my excitement waned a little when I saw it was going to be the typical shonen tournament, but as always the show keeps the story great with little to no filler. The fights are great and you get good insight into some of the other students, while getting your Deku fix along the way.If I had to rank the seasons (I’m halfway through season 3 as I type this) it would be as follows:Season 1Season 3 PT 1Season 2 PT 2Season 2 PT 1That is not to take away from this, it still gets 5 stars, but it only gets better from here.

Love this anime to bits and the extra stuff are great. The only negative thing I can think to say (and really it's not a bad thing at all, I'm just irresponsible) is that the keychain in this box is now made with a hard plastic while the season 1 box had a softer, more bendable keychain. I knew the instant I unboxed all the goodies that I was gonna break it some how if I put it on my key ring but I felt like I absolutely had to. Well... I somehow snapped All Mights legs off and a week later snapped off his torso when I fell asleep with my keys in my pocket. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Woops

On the front it shows season 2 part 1, but on the back it says episodes that should be part of part 2The dvd and blu ray play the correct episodes buy they aren't labeled correctly there either. They should be episode 1-12 right?Otherwise that, everything is great quality, but it will just be confusing to choose the episodes I want to watch

Like virtually all animated series, a physical copy of Season 2 Part 1 of My Hero Academia is expensive.If you are just wanting to see the show then I recommend checking it out on CrunchyRoll or Hulu.If you are wanting to add this great show to your collection, then grab a copy before it goes out of print and costs hundreds of dollars per half of season.

I thought all the extras of the limited edition were well done. The only thing holding down my rating is that the digital code doesn't work. Attempting to contact funimation resulted in them asking for more info and then never getting back to me. However the blu-ray works fine so i won't knock it too harshly.

Not a fan of the hulking size of this box set, pretty unnecessary and the merch is ridiculously cheap and gimmicky. Seeing how big the box preview is for the second half of this season that's coming out, I'm gonna have more wasted shelf space. Maybe actually look into how you can actually make these limited editions more worth being excited for and not it be like a bag of Lay's chips where it's mainly air that you're paying for. The series deserves more effort and respect than you're not even bothering to give it. Take queues from your competitors, maybe try to work a deal for soundtracks of this series. Exclusive posters, art cards. None of this cheap headband, flags, keychain, and cheap throwaway "trading cards" nonsense.

DVD読み込み面が傷だらけ、外パッケージのヨレ、収納パッケージの破損有り。新品との事ですが、検品をもっとしっかりしてほしいです。リージョンは合ってるので国内プレイヤーでも視聴出来ます。見られればいい向け。
