Why did you pick this product vs others?:Been using this for a few months, and it’s by far the best pre workout I’ve tried. It feels better overall, and even with less caffeine than others I’ve used I still get a good pump. No comedown either so a huge win!

First, I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor. Some of the reviews here had me dreading it, but I've tried both strawberry lemonade and blue raspberry, and can happily report that they're both decent. It's about the flavor you'd expect if Monster Energy made a strawberry lemonade or blue raspberry flavor....not something you'd drink for fun, but if you can handle Monster, this will taste fine.As for effectiveness, I bought both Lean and Stim-Free, and both of them make an immediate and noticeable difference. I can't yet comment on long term gains, but what I can say is:After taking Lean for just a week, I added two reps for both pull-ups and bench press, and that's after being stuck on a plateau for bench for the past few weeks. I was also massively more energetic during my initial warmup.I also took Stim-Free before a morning jog. I noticed a clear tingling sensation in my face and chest, which is one of the potential side effects associated with greater bloodflow. I'm not a very good runner and usually get lactic acid pain pretty quickly, but during this run, there was no lactic acid at all, which is one of the main benefits that Stim-Free claims. I felt purely limited by how hard I was breathing and not by muscle pain.One week in and I'm already a clear five stars. I'll check back in once I have evidence of long term gains.

Effects are pretty good just a bad aftertaste.Tropical Flavor

On my second use I felt a noticeable increase in my energy and stamina on the elliptical cross trainer.

Update:Taste: poorEffectiveness: mediumSide effects: miserableI’ve been using for about a month. I’m stopping using this preworkout. At first the flavor was awful then it got better as I figured a mix of scoops and water I could tolerate. Since then my stomach has been meeesed up! I thought maybe it was some other stuff in my diet. Got off of it a few days then went back to it and boom messed up tummy all over again. Do not recomend.Got it today, couldn’t wait to try it since I ran out of my usual. Kicks in quick, lasts for the workout, but man.. it does not taste great.. got the strawberry lemonade. Has a crazy after taste that hangs about a minute. Could be the natural sweeteners. Maybe more or less water with the suggested scoop. I’ll update later if I find a combo that works ok. Lower doses compared to what my normal pre workout had, so we will see how I like it going forward.

Overall, good taste, not chalky, and no itchiness/tingling. Other than that, I can’t say this preworkout really gave me that boost. I have used the LEAN series and have used the entire container. I used the full scoop with water in the mornings before my workouts. I drug through them. Literally. Never really had an enhanced energy or performance level except the first week of taking it. I pushed through the entire container (a month’s worth) just to be sure it wasn’t me or my hormones acting wack with the different weeks. I have taken several pre workouts over the year - C4, Ghost, Beyond Raw LIT, Alani, Bloom, & more. This feels like another Alani or Bloom to me. Although better taste, the effect is just not there.

Wonderful flavor. It worked extremely well without making me feel too wired. It provided absolutely no crash to me whatsoever.
