I had a huge tonsil stone lodged in one of my tonsils. It didn't hurt that bad, but every time I swallowed, I could feel it. It kinda felt like a tiny pebble in the back of the throat. I tried gurgling with warm water, even tried to use a Listerine soaked q tip to squeeze it out, and none of that worked. I ordered this plunger because it was the cheapest. The moment it was delivered, I grabbed it, opened it and assembled it (I was soooo desperate), turned on my bathroom sink, and waited for the hot water. I filled the plunger with warm water, and sprayed it on the several times. I even choked on the water a couple of times. At first, it didn't work, but after a little less than 2 minutes, I watched the plunger latch right on, and pull the stone right out. I was so relieved when that stone was gone!!! So it did take a few tries, but it worked great!!

This thing sucks as a vacuum for small stones/holes, but works decently for spraying water and rinsing. I have a water pick so I use that but for those who don’t want to spend the money on that, this product works decent for flushing out stones and rinsing your gums. The length of the tool is helpful but I wish the product held more water at the bottom. Good quality, for the money this is a decent water flushing tool. The package also came with the tonsil stone remover tool with a light, which makes it more worth your money because that tool I actually use. But I wish that was mentioned because I bought the tool separately now I have like three of them haha

**Update 11/14/24: After using the suction device a few more times (gargling with warm salty water before and more frequently in general helps immensely!), I had more success.The seller also reached out to offer a full refund (idk if this would remove the review?), which I declined because the topic of tonsil stones is so fraught and upsetting for so many and I wanted to leave an honest update.**I was surprised when this item arrived with an additional “scooper” kit-a small flash lit wand with several lucite attachments for scooping the stones out. I had success using the suction device only once.After a few unsuccessful attempts later, I tried the wand and the tip end of the attachment broke off in my throat. I don’t believe I was using it inappropriately (your gag reflex kind of prevents that). Very distressing and dangerous.The suction device works fine as an irrigator. I will try it again at some point, but was honestly very put off by the experience.

OMG GET IT NOW!I have suffered from TS for my entire life. I’ve been using ear swabs and flosser picks to get them out which is very painful. This worked in like 2 seconds. Got everything out that’s been bothering me for over two weeks. INSANE I wish I knew about this sooner. Absolute GAME CHANGER 10/10 mine were pretty deep rooted too and just went a few times on one side to get everything out.

Amazing!I was skeptical at first, because I have a bad gag reflex, so initially it did make me gag, but that’s with following instructions( hold over stone and release bulb slowly) I thought if I feel it coming out slowly I’m done, so I did a quick hard suck n it pulled that mf out so quick and it was decent sized. There were a few small bits behind I sucked as well. Throats a smidge sore because I did it my own way but it’s amazing!*the wand thing does have different attachments and one does have a cap you have to REMOVE so it doesn’t go down your throat ☺️

I like the design and the idea, but this thing is huge for my mouth. When I try to use it, I get the gagging reflex because it pushes too hard against my tongue. Maybe if I figure out how to use it, I'll change my rating later. Gave it two start because the scooper stick that comes with it is kinda nice.
