Fantastic book . Really interesting & engaging photos . If you are interested in counter cultures & what attracts people to them . Then this is a book for you . I felt it was a good purchase

what an amazing book , there will of course be references made to 'avedons ' into the west book but this book my Micheal Joseph stands by its one merit , the photos are beautiful and there seems to be a connection through the page to the subjects , this is by far the best photography book I have bought in a long time {and I've bought a lot .I would say this book will become a classic amongst photography books .

The media could not be loaded. Michael's book is packed with beautifully shot and mounted portraits. The accompanying text is incredibly emotive. The book is larger than I thought it would be.

These photos show the humanity inside each one of the people in the book and demonstrates how well the photographer really succeeded at seeing them. I was a traveler for many years, in the 3rd world more so than in the USA, and thought I would remain so forever. The narratives that are included with many of the photos are beautiful and reflect the many different reasons people become travelers. A few sentences here and there throughout the book remind me why I traveled. Some explain the drive that sent me on the road even better than I ever could. Finally, the book also is beautifully printed with high quality binding and paper. Thank you to Michael Joseph for this labor of love.

I have followed Michael Joseph's work and this series. Up to this point I've only been able to see it all online. To hold this beautifully printed book brings you into the portraits sessions and folks being photographed. Best birthday gift!!!!
