Over the years I've ordered A Lot of plated chains from Amazon seem to go through them quickly or hate the color of the plating but this Kisper rope chain is one of the best I've ever seen. Worried the gold color would be too light yellow but it isn't, actually looks just like a real gold rope I had years ago & the cut makes it sparkle so pretty. I hate extender chains that always seem to tangle into a ball so I definitely appreciated this chain doesn't have any extender & instead has a sturdy lobster clasp. What most surprised me when I opened the package was the card for the lifetime warranty, I've never seen that offered with plated jewelry & certainly says the company believes in & stands by their product. The chain arrives in a small black velvet bag which is nice to keep it in when not wearing. Highly recommend giving this one a try, think anyone would be happy with this chain. I'm actually going get a shorter one to match the 20" chain.

It is very a pretty gold over the sterling silver chain. At 1.5mm it is thicker than most chains, which are very delicate, and I'm always worried they would break, getting caught in a piece of clothing. The braid on the chain is consistent. The color of the gold plating is very light, and it almost looks like a dual-tone chain- gold and silver. However, I am not a huge fan of yellow gold, so this works perfectly for me. The lobster clasp closes securely. I like this chain a lot for adding an understated bit of sparkle to office attire.

I have several 14K gold chains over sterling since solid gold is so expensive these days. This chain is definately made for women with the smaller 1.5mm width of the chain, makes it look really delicate. The gold finish over the sterling looks good and complete, but a little too light for yellow gold for my tastes. It picks up the light quite a bit though, and that sparkle may outweigh the color for some. It comes in a 24" and 30" inch length, would have preferred a 27" inch length, but ordered the longer 30" anyway. The workmanship looks pretty good and comes in a nice gift pouch for gifting. Not sure why it is priced on the higher end, but if you like the color and the rope deisgn, then this may work out for you.

Oh my gosh I love this chain! I'm not a fan of plated gold jewelry because of the simple fact it wears off and I'm somebody who wears jewelry long-term, not just occasionally, so my jewelry gets a lot of wear, so I usually stay away from plated anything because I know I cannot wear it long-term, but in this case it's not cheap metal underneath, it is actually sterling silver! which I was surprised to see, no it doesn't make it any better when it rubs off and everything lol but at the same time you can get a beautiful gold necklace and wear it for a Time and when it does wear off you can just have a sterling silver necklace, I will update this if it does start to show wear, which I expect it to, it happens with plated. This is actually a really great price for a silver necklace that's gold plated, and it's really well made I'm very impressed and I would highly recommend it for somebody who wants to get a an economical gold necklace, but doesn't want a cheap metal plated one.Cheers!

This a very nice chain. It's supposed to be silver plated with gold, and by it's weight and feel I'd say that's right. It's got a very beautiful design, but be aware, it's very thin. That being said, it looks great and everything about it does feel like a quality product. I would recommend it.

I am a fan of good silver chains, especially those that are more than paper thin. I like strong chains. This is a nice size. I won't worry about accidentally snapping it. I also note that the actual color is a lighter shade of yellow. I actually prefer that. It doesn't say white gold but it looks more like that than yellow. Italian made too. See my photo, which hopefully conveys what the color is. Comes in a drawstring pouch.

This is a gorgeous, fine chain that is beautiful on its own or with a pendant (not included). I like the finish a lot. Gold has been layered over sterling silver, and the result is a very pale gold that looks almost silver in some lights. Because of this, I think it will work with both gold and silver pendants.Highly recommended!

This is beautiful. It may be a simple gold rope chain but it really reflects how something so beautiful can be effortless.
