McFarlane Toys - Movie Maniacs, Red Miller (Mandy) 6in Posed Figure

Got this as a Christmas present for my fiancé and I know he’s going to love it very good quality which is what I was hoping for since this movie is not as well known.

We aren't likely to get much Mandy merchandise so, getting anything at all is a huge plus. McFarlane Toys has a solid history with releasing horror related stuff but rarely was that stuff in such a niche as Mandy is. So, rejoice because this is one cool collectible.This figure is more of a display piece, much like the original Movie Maniacs were. UNLIKE those figures of old, this one is a bit smaller in scale, comes attached to a display base, and comes with a slew of accessories/bonus material. On the accessory side of things we have a chainsaw (which, as far as I can tell, you can't swap out with the weapon in his hand) and a background display to place your figure in front of. Bonus material included a card with a display stand of its own and a "mystery pack" which is basically some Mandy related stickers).The box it comes in is rather large so in box collectors might have a time finding a proper display style for it. Additionally the box has some rather unsightly promo stuff on the front that distracts. Frankly, even as an in box collector myself, I couldn't resist to take it out. It just displays better that way.The likeness on the head sculpt is pretty good. It's not 100% there but there will be no mistaking it as anyone but Nic Cage's Red Miller. It helps that he has a beard. All in all, any perceived "complaints" are merely nitpicks. For example, yes, I do wish that the figure was more standard size and that the box wasn't so immense but, hey, I'm grateful to get anything related to the movie that is this cool.I'll knock one star off for the minor "issues" but know that I wanted to gush and give it five.

Mcfarlane is killing it with this line. Keep up the great work. This is the Best Nick Cage fig yet. Also, the packaging is really nice.

I’ve been a fan of Mandy ever since it came out and I have all the funko pops and cheddar goblin merch but i always thought that it was missing something all of the merchandise is kinda cartoonish and doesn’t match the darkness of the movie and I thought all hope was lost until I saw this product it was a good price came with other stickers and accessories but most of all looks bad ass also I dropped it like 6 times when getting it in on my shelf and it didn’t break
