Great for budget.
Nice monitor. It has a nice refresh rate. Good for gaming and good for the value. Sound? You have to connect headphones or speaker by aux. besides that it works well.

Good monitor
Despite the general consensus of not using a va monitor for gaming, that's exactly what I'm using this mp223 for. The blacks look amazing and the contrast is excellent. I find the color reproduction to be pretty decent, although I haven't made any prints of my photos to compare. This monitor does have low latency mode, along with freesync. I have my gpu set to sync at 100 Hz, and my PC maintains this with no problems. The pixel density at this size is a little over 100ppi, which is only just a little less than 1440 at 27". The monitor is crisp and clear, and my aging eyes don't notice ghosting, so I can't say whether it's there or not. I thoroughly appreciate the clarity and color rendition on this monitor, small text is crisp and easy to read. For this price range, I don't think you'll find a better value monitor if you're gaming single player on a budget. Maybe ips has some upsides, but I feel like VA tech has come a long way and still holds its own in the sub $150 range.

Good budget monitor
Using as a secondary monitor in the setup. Very clear and looks ok. Screen isn’t highest quality, but you get what you paid for

Extraordinary quality for the price
There is really nothing more to say. The size is just right for my needs and the picture quality is outstanding for the asking price. The only possible drawback is, the monitor doesn't have a D-Sub input.

Good monitor
Need a display-port monitor, and this one worked out very well. Although it didn't come with a displayport cable. Was able to mont my mini pc on to the back of the monitor. Surprised with the price from a brand name monitor.

It's OK
I bought it knowing it wasn't going to be impressive, I just needed more space to maneuver documents and share screen areas. I had to mess with the settings to get it to look okay but it will definitely not be amazing quality (keep expectations low). My main screen is the lenovo legion 5 pro screen so obviously the comparison is unfair for the price. It does the job of extending my screen space and keeping videos open that I don't watch, just listen while looking at things with better graphics on my main screen or messing around with documents. I still use my main screen for gaming but I'll probably try the Switch with this monitor. I got it on sale and had giftcards which made it worth it. If you want something that looks great, expand your budget because this price point will not have it.
