This was the worst waste of my money, time and a horrible addition to my carbon footprint! Firstly it absolutely stank of mouldy mushrooms and had white powdery stuff all over it. The pages were all ripped and the cover looked like it had stepped in at the last minute for the ball at the end of a football match that had gone into penalties When you're paying over £30 for a supposed to notch hand made item you expect it to arrive in immaculate condition, not looking like it had been repeatedly drop kicked around a warehouse before being left for several chilly wet years in the deepest, darkest, dankest and dampest part of said warehouse.Amazon then wanted me return said disgusting specimen in order to get a refund, item is unusable, why the hell the would want it back I'll never know, best place for it was on my yearly bonfire, not being transported around the country in some van throwing out diesel fumes! Disgusting customer service Amazon and disgusting product from seller!!!! I just wish 0 stars was an option as by giving it 1 star its still getting some sort of a rating!AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

This is a lovely notebook , journal or spell book . Plain old parchment type paper inside , I love it .

I’m really not impressed with this if I’m honest. I’m just not sure what you could actually use it for.I can see what it’s trying to do - it’s trying to recreate that old feel witchy passed down through the generations shadow book kind of feel. But the design is really “off”. When I got this to review, it was advertising the book as leather bound - it is not leather, the cover is cheap shiny mass produced PU plastic that looks new and clashes with the fake “worn” pages. And I get it is supposed to look “old” but it looks like you bought a cheap notebook and it got a bit battered in the post.Some of the paper bound is much bigger than the cover so it’s naturally going to get even more battered. The paper is bound in 4 sections so effectively it’s like having 4 small notebooks in one rather than having a proper notebook. The paper itself is what you’d expect from handmade paper in terms of roughness and feeling a bit powdery and colour wise it looks tea-stained, which I suppose is the effect they were going for.Might be exactly what other people are looking for but I just feel it’s very overpriced for what it is.

I have spent a long time trying to find the right style. Size and design for me. I loved the front cover design and the “ old authentic” look it had. This was purchased for a Grimoire. But, very disappointed in the abysmal quality for the money that is charged for this product.Description is misleading-It seems like a mass produced item.The cover is NOT leather! The paper is not of good quality and looks and feels like cardboard that has been mashed up and pressed. I could get a real buffalo leather journal for less than this.Unhappy, disappointed !!!!

The media could not be loaded.  This journal is a good leather copy, as it is made of PU leather and not real leather. It has been treated with a scent, making it smell like leather. The paper is handmade and of good quality, making it a durable and long-lasting journal. The moon phase print on the cover adds a touch of vintage charm, and the lock clasp keeps the journal securely closed. In total to me this journal is a good choice for those looking for a leather-like journal without the high price tag.
