The description says this is a thick sock, I wouldn’t necessarily say that this is a thick sock. The top rest just below the knee and the sock doesn’t slide down while you wearing them. The material isn’t extremely thin, but I wouldn’t describe as thick either. The material is such that you can see your skin underneath the material. It seems to be a well made medium weight sock.

I’m very happy with this pair of socks!Often, I wear horseback riding boots, and these are perfect for that use.
