Q: What is the warrenty ?

Q: Can you turn off the humidifier?

Thank you for the question. The Aaira + Humidifier is a humidifier with the bonus of air purification. The production of HOCl can be turned on and off by pressing the Disinfectant toggle but the humidification function can not be turned off.

Q: WHy did it have a flashing red light coming from the inside of the humiderfier when I woke up in the morning?

Thank you for reaching out. The light from inside the Aaira + Humidifier should not flash red, it should only flash blue when the unit needs attention. The cold evaporative filter icon, on the control panel, will appear red when it is time to replace that filter.

Q: Is this effective against VOC and formaldehyde?

Thank you for the question. VOCs (volatile organic compounds) are gas type particles that are smaller than .3 microns. A carbon filter used in conjunction with a HEPA filter is the standard for removing VOCs so our Aaira + HEPA, with an activated carbon filter and H-13 HEPA filter would be a better choice.
