LimbO Waterproof Cast and Dressing Protector - Full Leg SLIM (M80LL: 39-51 cm Upper Thigh Circ. (5'0-6'0))

So happy with this product - wish I’d known about it sooner. Having had 3 ops so far after snowboarder smashed into me causing multi ligament injury 26 months ago - I’ve only just discovered it after the 3rd op. It really does work, even fully submerged in the bath. I was pretty nervous about it as I can’t afford to get my dressings wet until staples are out but I was so excited about being able to bath as we don’t have decent wet room or showers, only hand held attachments so pretty useless. I was very careful to measure first as it’s crucial it’s tight enough on the seal to keep it 100% watertight. I’ve used it twice now and not a drop of moisture got in - floated up, first time but next time I tried to get all the air out first and it was much better submerged. I ordered the small as I have very skinny lanky legs and was worried it wouldn’t be tight enough but on my upper thigh it worked perfectly. I just wish I’d known about them sooner for my other ops. Small pleasures like a bath mean a lot more when you’re suddenly stuck on crutches/not driving in rural Cornwall for 8 weeks, twice over, when sport is your life/work. Fantastic product - super grateful for all the reviews which led me to buy it. For ref - upper thigh 38cm - good fit on small.

I've recently had 2 sets of treatment for varicose veins and after each treatment have to wear support stockings for a week. Doctor said I could wear the stockings in the shower and just wait for them to dry afterwards but I didn't like the idea of walking round the house in wet stockings so I purchased these protectors and am so happy I did. They're quite bulky, tough material but perfect to wear for a quick shower. When you pull them up the uppermost black band will turn in on itself and once it's at the top of your thigh you just gently pull the top part of the clear part down again a little until the black band reverses and forms the seal. Difficult to describe but just follow the instructions and it's really easy to get a perfect seal. No leakage whatsoever. I then wipe them mostly dry with a flannel and hang in the airing cupboard to dry completely.

The LimbO pulls easily over my braced leg, and keeps my leg perfectly dry in the shower. It seems robust, although time alone will tell. It is far superior to a cheaper waterproof cover I brought previously which was unduly tight and rather flimsy. This is very much more effective and robust. A few days on, it is doing very well. It’s easy to get on. I bought a medium size, although I had been concerned it might be difficult over a hinged leg brace; I’ve had no such problem. It has remained robust, and I’ve had no leaks whatsoever. I doubt there could be a better product to keep your leg dry in the shower.

Works as it should a little too long for my wife’s short leg as she is only 5’ tall other that that I would buy again

The Full Leg is better than a Half Leg but I still find it not 100% waterproof and difficult to put on. Must admit delivery was quick and no problems. I have tried a Half Leg which was not long enough so bought a Full Leg version but find it difficult to put on and not 100% waterproof and equally difficult to remove. However I would recommend this product over others I have tried and is value for money.

Partner had surgery and was in a knee high cast for nearly 8 weeks. Tried the usual bags and sellotape grief and then got this. Has made things so much easier, the rubber wetsuit seal keeps all the water out and suits thicc thighs the bag is big enough to accommodate a large cast. If you have a cast just get one, makes life so much easier.

Can’t say I liked anything about this but it allowed me to shower with compression stocking on. Did a great job and kept my leg dry. Easy to pull on and a good seal.

This was ordered for my husbands use , he had a leg injury which was first covered in plaster and then a brace this made life bearable when showering, easy to put on, kept the leg completely dry and in use for approx. 2 months ,highly recommended, don't know what he would have done without it. delivery time was excellent, about 2 days after ordering

The adult leg protector worked as promised! It was easy to put on, comfortable to wear in the shower and did not leak at all.

Der Limbo kam schnell an. Leider ist der Einstieg sehr schmal, konnte ihn nicht gebrauchen da ich ihn für den Oberschenkel brauche und hab ihn verschenkt, da Rückgabe nicht möglich. Einer Dame, die nicht mehr als 50 kg wiegt passt er, oder für Arme oder Waden. Für Oberschenkel eher ungeeignet.

Didn't leak and worked as expected!

Couldn't have worked any better - gave my 15yr old son the privacy he needed to shower on his own. No leaking into the cast.....loaning to a friend whose son recently broke his leg, too. Worth the money - forget the rest!
