Great Sound!
The packaging is awesome. Keep your plastic in the sleeves so you can get the bowls in and out safely. This is my second set of various sizes and the sounds are on pitch. It only comes with one mallot although my other ones came with 2. But a great deal for the price. Love them.

Sturdy matter for use with singing bowls
Rubber and wood material make this very sturdy. Will definately hold up over use. Unfortunately when I ordered this I thought I was getting the mallet with singing bowl so I cannot speak to it's actually use. From the description it appears to be easy to use.

ergonomic feel, solidly made with care
If you are used to using a rod like striker to “hit” or rub against your crystal bowl, then this type of rubber mallet will be a new experience. The online ad says this is rubber. It looks and feels like those small very dense super bouncy balls. This first thing you will notice is that the ball look lopsided. The The wooden shaft does not enter into the ball at exactly perpendicular. The position of the ball relative to the shaft could be described as lopsided. I believe this is intentional. Unlike a mallet used for other percussion instruments where there is only a striking and hitting action, strikers for crystal bowls are designed to also be rubbed against the rim of the bowl with slight pressure to get the bowl to emit a resonant frequency and thus “sing”. The shaft/handle on this mallet is 6.25 inches long and has a slight taper. It’s very smooth and comfortable and has a lacquered finish. The ball itself is just a bit larger than the size of a golf ball. I’m looking forward to using this.

Now that's a BIG BONGER!
What you see is what you get. Natural wood handle that is stained with a smooth crystal like finish. The rubber end is pure white in color and is made from a highly dense rubber.I only have one LARGE crystal bowl, planning on collecting the others, but the mallet worked perfectly! We even tried striking a hand pan and tongue drum with it, too heavy, but it was a great experiment. The company that made this mallet also sells crystal bowl sets; I would LOVE to get the opportunity to review their set someday......really fair price as well.

Fun to Play
I was really excited to try these and see what I could sample in my other music-making experiments. The sound is pretty and relaxing. The quality looks pleasant and has held up to the use so far.The rubber mallet worked well for my other smaller percussion instruments as well.

Works great!
I got this as a replacement for the mallet that came with my singing bowl. It is just what I needed. This mallet has a large rubbery ball on the end, and running it along the inside of the bowl does consistently play the tone of the bowl. It is pretty easy for me to get to a loud tone on my bowl with this. You can also gently strike the bowl with this, which also results in a good volume of tone. The stick portion seems strong, and the mallet seems like it will be durable and last a long time.

Smooth ball
The rubber ball on this mallet has a very interesting texture. It feels like hard rubber, yet with a super smooth surface. The wooden handle is smooth and sturdily attached.I apologize that I cannot review how well it works for what it was designed for. When I ordered this, I thought I was getting the singing bowls with it, as pictured. Perhaps it is my fault for not reading the description carefully.
