This book gave me a lot of information. This book is awesome to read and I think this book is the best book of this topic, Everything written in this book makes sense, definitely a good read! I recommend this book and would read more books by this author.

Complete and informative if you are looking to become a better pilot and want a working knowledge of drones and the business this is a great book

This was a decent, basic book on drones but it should be noted that the rules are for the UK. If you are in the US then much of the contents don't pertain and may be confusing to new pilots.

This book was way below my expectation, information is tailored to a different market and way outdated. There was nothing but lost time and effort to read it. [I have read about 50% hoping to see something useful, but no avail.]

I have read several books based on a U.S. Perspective. I enjoyed the UK vantage point ... Not to mention the content is great.

Lots of useful information in these quick studies.3 stars from me only cause it had alot of UK regs and guidelines, but I live in the USA. Otherwise 4 stars..

Das Teil ist wirklich ist meiner Ansicht nach katastrophal formatiert. Nicht nur das hier ein extrem großer Zeilenabstand gewählt wurde, auch die Tabellen passen nicht so richtig ins Buch (gestaucht).

Good little book for anyone into drones. My only complaint is the side two of every page was printed with the smallest of margins against the spine of the book which means cracking it open a lot to be able to read it. A quality issue with the printing. The formatting of the 3rd part is a little wonky, Otherwise, happy with my purchase.

All though it is written for people who are aspiring to fly drones on a professional basis there a lot of tips for the enthusiast who is learning or has just bought a drone. It is worth reading as it gives a very comprehensive look at the areas that are required to give you a safe and enjoyable time learning the basics of how and where you can safely fly. I would recommend it as part of your learning curve

First, let me establish that I am reviewing the paperback version of this book. At face value it promises to be a bargain at £22.37, considering that it is an amalgamation of three volumes, for which you would pay £10.99 for 52 pages, £13.99 for 84 pages and £13.99 for 102 pages. However, that is the end of the pros.The cons. The size of book, and the three it amalgamates, is smaller than A5. This is far too small. What pictures that are used are small black and white images, lacking clarity. Check lists, etc, are placed in tables where the individual cells just do not work in a format of this size, some stretching over several lines of text with only one word per line and even parts of individual words stretching over two lines including a final single letter. As has been noted eleswhere, proof reading seems to have been ignored and gramatical and spelling mistakes abound.Whilst the author acknowledeges that drone legislation may change, why produce such a book. With the exception of his personal "thoughts" up to date versions of all the information contained within this book can freely, and easily, be obtained from the internet. Finally, to add insult to ijury on the last page of the book the author offers a "...free printable copy of "Drones: The Professional UAV Pilot's Flight Time and Maintenance Logbook, as well as being the first in line for new releases" by sending an email to [email protected]...". Despite doing so, and verifying both the email address and its receipt of my email, my request has not even received acknowledgement, let alone the promised item.Having read the reviews I so wanted this book to be what it purports to be, a single volume contaning all the information a drone owner could wish for, but it fails dramatically. Don't waste your money, one star because I can not give it none. With no hope of a refund my copy has already been consigned to the recycling bin.
