Thick calves
For some reason all these manufacturers think everyone that needs a walking boot has chicken legs. Im a little on the curvy side and my boot never fits snuggly around my calve. This is a god send. It works great. Gives you the support thats missing in the front of the liner from it not being able to close all the way. No more Velcro scratching my shin. I highly recommend this boot liner extension. The Velcro holds really well. And its for the tall boots and it fit a different brand boot just fine.Update: still works great. I've ha this for a while. Velcro still sticks.

Help was short lived
I purchased this extender as well as the United Ortho short boot. It worked fine for about a week and a half then the velcro stopped sticking where I needed. I tried adjusting the extender so that it had a fresh area to stick to but that makes the boot now fit oddly. If this new area of velcor that i have it sticking to lasts as long as the first area did I will be out of luck.This is not acceptable as I require this boot for proper healing of my ankle.
