I was looking for something similar to a pen I wrote with in the 80s made by BIC . It is not the same, but it is a very nice pen and the ink flows extremely smoothly and from what I have seen so far, it does not smear the grip cushion could be a bit better but all in all I would recommend this and would buy it again.

These pens come in a nice acrylic presentation case that belies their inexpensive price. Good as a casual gift for a student or co-worker, to say "Congratulations!" or "Thanks for all your help!". Or use it for yourself as a decent-looking traveling pen, that you won't mind leaving behind at the client's office or your hotel room. The pen itself writes smoothly, and has a good, rubberized grip. I find it to be a little bit light in weight in my hand, but still a decent pen for everyday.

Love the smooth flow of the gel ink. Pen is just heavy enough to feel good in the hand, and the grip is just about perfect. Also, I am partial to a medium point vs. fine point, and this medium point really fits the bill. Great writing for a reasonable price.

Good pens are hard to find, especially at this price point. Each pen in this 2-pack of pens comes in a quality acrylic case. As with any new pen, I had to write with it to see how I liked it.The pen has some weight to it, typical of any high-quality type of pen. I wrote a few words with it and was super happy with how smooth it wrote. Also, since I am left-handed, I tend to smear ink as I write. However, I am pretty sure the ink in this pen is quality and fast drying as well, because there was absolutely no smearing as I wrote.My original plan was to treat myself to nice and new pens. Then when I saw them at first, I changed my mind and figured I would use them as gifts. But, I reconsidered once I started writing with them and would rather keep them for myself than give them as a gift.I am happy with these and are by far the nicest pens I have used in a long time. These are great to keep in your portfolio folder to take with you to client meetings.
