Functional but careful of the platform
I like the functionality of the ladder. I used it mostly in the scaffolding position to paint a ceiling. One of the platforms warped within a couple days from usage so it's not as sturdy anyone. I had it position right so I don't think it should have bent.

Well built, reliable
Heavy! Granted I'm a smedium female but collapsible to me is portable, but I've used this less because it's a bit much for me to move. However, it came in very handy recently when I had to paint walls and ceilings in an area with 9ft height. The adjustment points have little easy to pull bits that go from "🔒 " to "🔓" smoothly, and then adjust as needed. The bench-lije position is the main way I've used it, for all my project supplies and also for a step stool sort of function. The hinged/elbows however you want to refer to them, adjust easily and auto lock once they are adjusted to a certain degree. Of course always double check to make sure before putting any weight on it!! Came with two sections of metal with holes in it, they slide and fit to create a more consistent surface across the rungs, which is how I used it for a table. Haven't tried all the positions out yet but I have no doubt in this ladder. Folds down impressively for space saving. Doesn't budge in locked positions. Has feet that are slip resistant and ensure a steady experience. If I needed a ladder professionally, I'd trust this one. Built to last. Impressive craftsmanship.

This ladder is more than meets the eye
As others have expressed, I also found this ladder sturdy and strong. I mainly use it as a ladder and haven’t tried it in “bench mode.” The ladder has been great, and I haven’t experienced any hinges misfiring or weakening. With the large and spread out feet, it is easy to find a balancing spot to use for climbing up. I love how compact it can fold into, which makes it great for storing. So, I must admit I forgot to put this away and left it on the side of my house for a few months during the rainy season. It has taken the weather very well. None of the hinges are rusted, neither the frame nor the rungs. This ladder is really well-made.

Not for Single Person Use
This is a two person ladder. As an aging senior, I want easy to use products. Two latches must be lifted at the same time pushing the section of ladder to a new shape. Hold 2 latches at the same time as the section of ladder is moved. I have a lot of pinched skin due to trying to do three things at once. I only have two hands and those are busy holding open 2 spring loaded latches. I used leg power and resulted in more pinched skin situations

The amazing ladder!
I didn't realize ladders even came like this! This was a huge game changer for our house and is great for literally any job we needed it for. It stores incredibly well and is easy to move - no worries about knocking into any door frames or ceiling beams since it's all so compact. It's compact enough that you could even put this in a car, no truck needed. We end up using this as a scaffold and a work table a lot more than I expected. It's so convenient to have a full surface to work on than constantly having to adjust a ladder. My one complaint on the unit is that the scaffold plates are really difficult to get in and out of position. We ended up bending one of the plates pretty bad during out first use (still usable at least, and they're much easier to remove now haha). I'm not sure if we were just doing it wrong or if it's just the way it was designed but be careful when installing/uninstalling these.Incredibly useful, very sturdy and well made.

Tiny unsafe steps
Nifty ladder for tight spaces and the locking mechanism feels sturdy and safe. One star because I feel very unsafe going up and down due to the skinny rounded edge steps. They are slippery and the chamfered edge makes it nerve wracking to balance. If your shoes/boots/ladder are even just a little wet this is essentially a disaster waiting to happen.
