Vitrex 102463 Profile Gauge 460mm

I model period ships and the hull shapes can be quite complex. I used this for laminating a keel to hide the fact that it was made of plywood and it did a great job. Its large enough to be useful and yet it produces quite a fine line on any but the most tight curves. I can see lots of use for this in general DIY. Don't be put off by it being made of plastic. it is very sturdy and loads better than my previous wire based profiler

The gauge arrived ahead of schedule and has done my first job extremely well. I think I will be using it many times in the future.

Used this for laying decking in our garden as we had a curved wall. Could have done with getting a much longer profiler but this was the longest I could find at the time. With a little improvisation we managed to get the job done.

Doesn't hold a straight line, a few are different size or won't reset all the way, but will still do the same job! Just not perfect!
