Impressed.
First time making waffles, or even Keto chaffles, and so decided on this Krups and even though I have nothing to compare it to, I'm very impressed. My waffles came out great. Even colouring and cooking and easy to use. It does overflow a little, but I put enough batter in to cover the whole plate as I don't like them uneven in thickness. Just put somethinkg underneath it if it's a problem for you. It's really easy to remove the finished waffle and to clean. Small enough to stand up on its back like a little case and store away and easy to use. Plug in, switch on and wait for the red light to say it's at the right temperature and then put your batter in. It doesn't have a timer, but I put my kitchen timer on 4 minutes and done to perfection depending on how brown you want them. Seems well made and solid, so overall I definitely recommend.

Better than expected, makes perfect waffles
I looked at several cheaper ones but I have been bitten lately by buying cheaper appliances and them not lasting or performing like I wanted so I went a little bit further and bought this for double the price of the cheaper ones.It is a solid piece of equipment. Small instruction booklet with 3 basic waffle recipes but I used my own found on the internet. I just had to brush it lightly with some oil for the first use and it was not needed for subsequent waffles.I overfilled it the first three times, there is a knack to it, and each time it squeezed mixture out of the sides. However once dry the excess just peeled off the sides of the waffle maker and left nothing behind after a quick wipe with a damp cloth. Easy to easy, totally non-stick and the waffles come out lovely every time.Glad I bought this one!! Very happy.

Glad I choose this one.
I wanted a decent waffle maker so I read through the reviews. I didn't want a cheep one, I wanted one that would make the best waffles quickly. I used the waffle recipe that was in the book that came with machine. They are perfect! And the batter lasts in the fridge for a day or two as well. I mashed half a banana into it to get some fruit into the kids and they had no clue. I'm a decent cook and believe me this waffle maker is great. Nice and thick. The machine is easy to clean. A little does leak out the sides but I just put it on a tray to catch the drips. It stands up foreasy storage. My kids love them and have had them every night for desert since I got it! Some of the reviews said it was hard to clean but that's rubish. It doesn't even need clpeaning on the inside at al. Just a bit where it drips out.

This makes fantastic waffles!
Really delighted with this gadget and my family and friends agree it is very impressive. You can freeze the waffles when cool and reheat in a toaster without any compromise to flavour or texture. A few different recipes included, all work well. I was disappointed when it arrived with European 2 pin plug as this wasn’t mentioned before I purchased. An adaptor works fine though at a small additional cost. This hasn’t spoilt my enthusiasm for the product or the pleasure it brings.

The perfect waffle maker
...don't typically write reviews but was so impressed with this product: I nearly went for a cheaper model but spent time reviewing all the different makes and even went on waffle blogs before deciding on the Krups Waffle Maker - very pleased I did. I've only had it a couple of weeks and can confirm it is built like a tank and can make a perfect waffle in 3-4 mins. I've only used one recipe that came with the instruction manual so far and haven't experienced any downsides... I did overfill it once but it was easy to wipe clean. Very few electric kitchen appliances exceed expectations - this is one of them. A little more expensive but for me well worth it.

Waffle maker
After reading lots of reviews for different waffle makers I decided to plummet for the Krupa FDK2, which was a little more expensive then the others. However, I am really really pleased with it. I have so far made 3 batches of waffles (each consisting of 12 waffles in total), and they have all come out fabulous. Heat the waffle maker up, spray it with a little oil, put your batter in (not to much or it will overflow), close the lid and cook for 4-5 minutes and hey pesto you have perfect waffles. I only sprayed it the once before the first batch, all waffles come out cleanly (I use a fork to lift them out) so once the maker has cooled down wipe it over and put it away. Simple!! Only thing I would suggest is make the waffle mixture by hand as it comes out much better, I found the rise is not as high otherwise. All in all a great waffle maker, I would definitely recommend it.UPDATE: 4 years later and it's still working great, but please note that i only use it once every now and then. Even my teenager uses it, it's that easy. Still loving it!2021 UPDATE: and it's still perfect. I no longer spray oil on it before my first batch. Still loving it

The best waffle maker
I had couple of different brand waffle makes before this one. Those were much cheaper, however they never cooked waffles correctly. This machine is rather expensive but definitely lives up to its price. Super quality.I had this machine now for two months and I been making waffles at least once a week !
