A new bimini top for a boat is usually a pretty pricy affair, so I was suspicious of the quality of this item at the outset. But as a very fair-skinner sailor, I also really wanted a bimini for my boat so I decided to roll the dice, and I ended up being pleasantly surprised.The fabric is fairly lightweight, and after one season in the sun, the cover is already fading a bit, but it has held up pretty well. For the price I paid, I'm very satisfied. It wasn't too tough to install, and everything fit together like you'd expect. I was able to do the job solo, but a second pair of hands would make it easy work.It looks good, and keeps the sun off my head when I'm out sailing. If it lasts a few seasons, I'll be more than satisfied with the value for the money. After using it dor one season, I expect it to make it at least that far.

We just recently installed this Bimini after a full boat renovation on a 16ft, 1984 Bass Tracker and I'm impressed with the quality of the materials and how sturdy it is after installation especially at such low price. The instructions for how to install it were pretty unclear and I must admit it took us a good 10 minutes just figuring out how the metal rods connected into each other, but once we figured that puzzle out and got the canvas attached to the rods mounting it to the boat was easy. The canvas is made of a thick material and the entire bimini is sturdy enough that we've ran down the river (with the Bimini open) at 35 mph and it held up perfectly with zero shaking, flexing, bending, or rattling. It gives the perfect amount of shade and doesn't get in the way of fishing from the back deck. It also fit our boat perfectly! This Bimini has exceeded expectations and you honestly can't beat it for the price.

The assembly of this canopy is not easy. Please note there are two pole lengths - one pair 54 inch and onepair 55 inch. We overlooked the instruction noting the same The instruction manual includes both the 3 bow and 4 bow options. We were referring to the 3 bow in error. We got the pole lengths backwards. When we secured the poles--the bolts locked up and would not come out --even with a power screwdriver. We ended up actually drilling out the bolts. It was difficult. We have since completed our assembly and it is a nice unit. Just be alert to the instructions....

Excellent value. Aluminum tubes are stout and the Pacific Blue fabric that I chose is delightfully robust.

This is the worst product I have ever bought!!!! The instructions absolutely suck!!!!The nuts strip inside the plastic there is no dimensions or measurements on mounting points. It’s all in metric too.

Difficult to put together due to the instruction not being clear and precise. Pieces weren't labled clearly either. After assembled it looks nice. But I wouldn't purchase it again. I would ho with another company that would hopefully have better instructions.
