great design
As this is a hairpin, it is of great quality and design. But I got it for my collection of knives and swords as I find it was well crafted in representation.

The Battle Axe isn't the best for your hair.
I really like the assortment of hair sticks. I love collecting hair sticks and these were all very interesting designs. I really like what they're going for. I picked the battle axe, but I kind of regret my choice even though I do love the axe and I think it looks cool. The handle of the axe is a pain to push through my hair. All of the sticks I own have smooth bodies and taper off without anything grabbing at strands of my hair. I don't have this problem with other sticks. I tried getting it in three times. I wrap all of my hair around sticks and then secure it, so I like them to be as functional as decorative. I think these are more decorative. The handle of it breaks and tries to rip at my hair.3 stars for the idea of the design and the material, which was actually pretty decent metal for the price. I can't really use it to put my hair up for work. Its not meant to actually hold anything up, I don't think. I think its just meant to be something cool to put in your hair.... Eh... In my opinion, horn is the best material.I think the other sticks being sold might be better options. I wouldn't pick anything that didn't have a smooth, tapered end. That's my two cents on these.I like and hate it.

It’s really cool, but…
Getting it in and out of your hair is difficult. The notches and indentations catch on your hair and make it very difficult. If you can get past that it’s really fun!
