I really like this authors writing style. So why the 3 star rating? This book was only about 5% of the main characters interaction. Maia and Joel were apart almost the entire book with no interaction. They met in the previous story and had one date. They did not meet again until page 100 of this book. And only had 1 two minute phone conversation prior to this meeting. They met for a 30 minute lunch and then Joel was gone again because he had a high maintenance job. The book was basically about Maia and her insecurities. She was also in love with her former dead co-worker that she had worked with for ten years. This was a good "fill in" story with characters from the previous books but it was "too much" about them and "too little" about the main characters in this book.

Love this!
I really appreciate the way Graces weaves her story with a light spiritual side. It’s so refreshing to read a beautiful sweet clean story!

The Blessing of Faithful Friends
In previous Grace Greene novels, Beach Rental and Beach Wind, Maia Donovan is everyone's friend, encourager and comfort-giver, even to her own family and especially to her brother, Brian. Her position at the Front Street Art Gallery has been her life for ten years. In her early thirties, Maia is loved by many but not by someone special. She has secretly mourned a love that was lost, but never had a beginning. Then she meets Joel and they enjoy each other's company, but their busy jobs keep them from putting each other first. Maia has kept her long-held feelings of loneliness and her desire to be loved inside. After becoming involved in her brother's wedding plans the couple wants to take place in two weeks, Maia takes a long time off from work, unusual for her, rents her sister's run-down beach cottage for a time of solitude to think about her own lack of happiness and love. An unexpected bonus allows her to buy the shabby cottage. Repair work not only brings changes to the cottage but to Maia as well. She discovers happiness and love were always available to her.One of the things I liked most about this book was the way the characters from the first two books, each with such an interesting story, were still a part of Maia's life. Another thing was that we all have good times and bad times, but caring friends are always there even at our lowest moments.

Maybe just not my kind of story…
I really enjoyed the first two books of this three part series; I found both to be an interesting and captivating read. This last book, Beach Wedding, bored me to aggravation. Much too redundant, explanatory, unnecessarily detailed, descriptive & too many deterrences. I felt it’s wordiness just kept the story lingering on & on & on with mundane, non-interesting reading.

Wonderful read!
I love a good romance as much as the next woman but sometimes the sweep you off your feet perfection gets a bit boring. In previous books, Maia came off as perfect, never did wrong kind of person and I thought, " Nobody is this perfect! ". I was right, and relieved. I thought it was refreshing to get an inside look to what was really going on in her head. She is truly a good human with a big heart, but those with big hearts do have genuine feelings that sometimes get overlooked. She gets frustrated just like everyone else and sometimes it gets too overwhelming and escapes, whether we want it to or not. I was hesitant after reading some of the other reviews but I am glad I decided to be my own judge. I recommend reading this, especially if you read the previous books too. Now I can't wait to read what happens next for Maia.

Enjoyable read
I truly enjoyed the Emerald Isle series. The characters in the stories were complex, and well thought out. I only gave Beach Wedding 4 stars because I felt it had too much negative drama between the characters. On the other hand, the author’s description of that part of the US has given me a desire to visit the area. Overall, the series is very good, & an easy read. I’ll be reading more by Grace Greene.

Beach Wedding
In reading the reviews on book 3 I almost didn’t read it, but thankfully I really don’t follow reviews . So I started to read and did understand why som of reviews. Maia in 2 books loving caring put together. So when in several chapters she came out a lot freeky it made one wonder what the heck is the author doing to this magnificent story, especially if you were unaware of. Her feelings for Ben. And once that was reviled the whole thing made sense. And Beach Wedding was again a great and glorious read. Again I love how Grace Greene writes I shall be reading more of her books. I think one of the things I like best is her Faithfulness that she writes into her books. Thank you Ms. Greene ❤️

Story dragged
This book was not as good as the 1st 2. One thing I enjoyed was that it involved the same characters, but it dragged for most of the story. I kept waiting for something interesting. Never happened.
