I got this hoodie for a trip to Japan over the holidays and I loved it. It not sweatshirt material, but more silky inside, but it feels great. I got a large and I would say it runs just slightly large. Incidentally, I did get a few compliments on it from the Japanese locals. When I got this, my fiancé wanted one too but he saw it on a cheaper Online Amazon competitor. This "reproduction" was such an inferior quality and the graphics were very low resolution that it was almost comical how unlike the two were.

I really wanted to like this jacket. It has a really fun design.But the feel and the size just made it not fun anymore. The material is a poly/cotton blend but it has a really slick feel, almost as if it is waterproof but I'm sure it's not.The size is smaller than expected. I'm two inches smaller than the lower waist measurement for my size (2xl - 3xl) and the fit was very snug! I can't imagine someone who is at the upper end of the measurement fitting this jacket at all.Considering on the chart there is only a 4-inch difference between a small and a 3xl I'm not sure these measurements are based on actual sizes.If you don't mind the slick feel and order at least 1-2 sizes larger then you may enjoy this "hoodie." Me, I may snug it on around the house but it's definitely not something to go out and do activities in.
