20V MAX* 3-Tool Combo Kit, Brushless Cordless Router Tool, Random Orbital Sander, Jig Saw, Battery and Charger Included (DCK307D1P1)

I needed a new jig saw and I also needed a router, so having a spare sander is a plus. All three tools have held up well so far. I am pleased with the power and quick change and adjustment on the router. Its more user friendly than the Milwaukee version that is compatible size etc that I own and have used a fair amount. The jig saw is a better version than the old brushed version that finally died it is replacing. I like the addition of the light to the new brushless one. The sander is super handy. Again the Dewalt is more user friendly than Milwaukee. Dust collection is superior with a easily removed dust bag that does a good job collecting dust. Again, better than the clunky plastic dust collection container with paper filters that clog almost instantly on the Milwaukee. All in all a good kit at a good price with batteries and charger.

Bought at the perfect time with price being cheaper than the blue or orange stores nearby. Better than many of the different kits that get sold with a few good tools and a lot of lower tier/brushed models. These are better brushless models and it’s a decent enough kit with two average batteries. If they had thrown in two of the newer 5.0 a.h. Powerstack batteries instead then this kit would’ve been near perfect. They are sufficient to work with and most people won’t suffer with runtime but if you work them hard you could always shop around online for additional batteries. On the jobsite it’s a pleasure to be cordless. I just wish DeWalt would include dust collection accessories/adapters with their different tools. That would be a nice kit bonus.

Tools are great quality which i find typical of dewalt. I already had this sander but needed a 2nd for bigger projects so I can have 2 people sanding. For the sander its great. I replaced an older corded orbital and was amazed that a cordless actually had more power. Its also geys surprising battery life. You aren't going to sand all day on a 5ah battery but id say you get about 45 minutes to and hour of pretty constant sanding out of one pack. I haven't used the other tools a bunch yet but they are nice for the little use they've got. I have a makita corded jigsaw and this isn't quite as gutsy, its not far off. Especially for small jobs, not having to drag out an extension cord is worth the small loss of power. Router is the same. Doesn't quite match my old botch corded but its way more convenient and the power difference isn't huge.

Fantastic tool set. Very pleased with the price and functionality of the set. These are definitely essentials for folks looking to DIY some projects. I have used each tool numerous times, and no issues with their performance or defective tools. You will definitely need to replace the bits that they come with because they're not awesome.
