High quality kite!
May 2024: I bought both the green and pink kites for the kids to try at a kite festival this past weekend. The rods and kite material are very sturdy and the quality for the money is excellent. They are very easy to fly and got in the air no problem. The vibrant colors really pop against the sky too! One tip I do have is: the string included is strong and also a nice quality, but I grabbed a couple swivel clips from my fishing tackle box to tie on the end. It just makes hooking up or unhooking the string to/from the kite easier. I also love that it comes with a little bag to fold it up and store in. Overall I’m extremely happy with these kites and would most definitely buy again!Update (Aug2024): they’re still great! Have flown them over 10 times now throughout the summer. Still in perfect shape and they are super fun to use both for adults and kids!

Super Easy to fly my 7 years of has it and she can fly it all on her own and the quality is amazing super durable, colors are bright and fun!

Worked good
Kite worked great. Got it up pretty high with the included string. Only issue was after letting out majority of the string, when I wrapped it back up around the spindle and let it out again, it got all tangled. I don’t think I’ll be able to untangle it now. Kite still in good condition

Nice kite.
Nice kite. Easy to assemble. And got it in the air with ease. Also got it stuck in a large tree, but held up after tugging and pulling. But it came out of the tree, to return flying. Enjoy

Very easy to assemble and it was a big hit at a 3-yr olds birthday party.

too heavy for light to moderate wind
Appears to be reasonably well made but as one would expect given the price, the ferrules are steel and the spars are solid fiberglass. Consequently, although the body fabric is lightweight, overall the kite is too heavy to stay aloft except in a stiff breeze. The hand spool works well but is rather small making reeling in tedious.
