Best mic at this price point!
I use this mic for personal and professional music recording and it does the job great. Depending on the singer you may need to EQ a bit of the high mids and highs but apart from that I have no complaints. It's a condenser mic so it's very powerful and will pic up a lot of quiet noises in the background but if you have a good treated room then thjs js what you're looking for.

A decent condenser mic
It's a decent condenser mic - very sensitive. The clarity is there and it reproduces what it records very well. It feels sturdy and is all metal with a bit of heft. I'm on the fence whether it is actually worth the $109. It's pretty good, don't get me wrong. I wanted to be blown away by it at the cost and almost was until I started to critically listen to it. The shock mount is sturdy but it has a design flaw of some sort because it resonates and you can hear the resonating frequencies. I have socks wrapped on the inside of the mount to the mic to dampen this excess resonance. The shock mount doesn't do much in terms of shock absorption either. It does a little as there is an obvious difference if you tap the mic directly. The mic itself picks up every sound scrape and impact on the chord. There is no dampening the chord to mic so you just have to live with it and be careful. Internally there is obviously no dampening or shock absorption. At around the 10.5khz to 11.5khz range there is a horrible brittle high end distortion. It's subtle, but there. The high end is just too hot on this mic. It's not a constant electronic buzzing or anything like that it's how the mic picks up sound. I have to knock down that range to smooth out the sound. Comparing it to the original King Bee (I bought years ago), the king bee wins overall for a lower price and smoothness but tends to be a bit boomier than the MA-67.

A Voice and speech recoding POV
I have some mixed feelings about this mic, for a long time I have been looking for something that suits my voice (deep Barotone), everyone was recommending the Rode NT1 but i had some reserves given I had a neat king bee which alothugh is an excelelnt mic, I find it too dark for my taste, and from what I was hearign on reviews the NT1 seemed similar in taste, so one guy recomende this on his channel (there are only a couple who even reviewed it), so I decied to give it a chance. The sound is exaclty what I was looking for for voice over and podcasting, somewhat bright but smooth and not lacking, the only issues I have with this mic is the self noise and the poping, the self noise is easily removed with a plugin and the poping is removed by using a sock (the deliverd pop filter makes the mic far, if u ever need proximity), still, this sock idea kind of dulls it somewhat, or maybe darken it a little bit. So all in all, I like it and might be very close to loving it.

Great quality
I had the MXL880 before, which was good too, but it darkened my voice (made it sound more bassey). This mic is very clear and natural sounding. It comes with a pop filter which, I do not like in my opinion, but the mic itself is durable, along with the stand it comes with. Since it does not pinch, it has no risk of slipping, since you screw on the microphone. Overall, it's a great product, looks good, and it sounds great, especially at the price I bought it. I like it better than the MXL880 due to its natural sound, and sensitivity.

Amazing microphone cheap for beginners
Besides the fact I haven’t been able to use my device in months, i love everything this has done for me. I have made so many good songs with this and the crisp quality will never stop geeking me to the max. I barely have to compress with this microphone as long as i have a foam piece over it.

EXCELENTE MICROFONO

Humongous capsule, gargantuan deal
Better than the NT1a. Very similar to, but heavier and better than the NT1a,.through every acoustic amp I've run it through. Large capsule captures a lot of detail and rejects a lot of noise. Only had it for a day but this mic is the real deal. Id buy this over the RODE if I didn't already have that mic The rode NT5 is the only 'must have' rode mic. sE, Lewitt and Roswell are the only mic brands I recommend outside of....having a Shure SM57 and EV RE20...the classic obvious mics. And the Shure ksm is an obvious used mic grab....but the NT5 does a lot of things really well. Don't underestimate the greatness of that mic
