Fully transparency, I'm writing this review while I have 71% of the book still to read and experience!But today I found myself - again - recommending it to a friend, so I figured, it's time to deliver my review.I already knew what project I wanted to work on when I started reading, and Noah's book gave me even more clarity and confidence in my direction. I still had fun doing the idea-building exercises, and this is why I feel confident sharing this book with friends, especially those who are in career transitions, including retirement.There is an invitation earlier in the book to leave this review, and I chose to give it a little more time before I felt solid in doing so, which I do now. I've been following the exercises, and I've even printed out the journal and downloaded the spreadsheets. Noah really makes it easy, playful, and fun to follow along and stay in action.Another thing I've done to bolster my learnings is watch Noah's YouTube channel. There are many videos on there where he goes through the steps in Million Dollar Weekend. That got me ready for the section on vetting the idea (Google trends search, FB population, etc.). I think in my multi-learning brain, the videos made it seem super easy before I even read about it. Helpful!Good luck, have fun, enjoy!

Great book so far and im only 2 chapters in, helps you put your foot down and hold yourself accountable to TAKE ACTION. I can imagine the book will be filled with the wisdom i need to finally start a business, enjoy my life and celebrate like we just won the Super Bowl ;)

I'll be frank. "Million Dollar Weekend" has been collecting digital dust for nearly 5 months before I pushed it to the front lines next to other book titles that demand more of my attention.But here I am after surviving a permanent layoff on Valentine's Day 2026 because of what is a surprising simple reminder that I had to rediscover from Chapter 2.Which is the same reason why I'm obliged to write an early review before I even finish reading the book—the unlimited upside to ASKING.Let me say this:I'm not unhappy, but I've always struggled to finish something that I've started. Perhaps the challenges and lessons throughout the rest of this book will forever STOP the endless cycle of starting and restarting my life's pursuits.I've become an expert at creating, building, and designing profitable ideas in isolation. It's time to share and get out of my own way and let others help me fail forward. I think the foundations and processes within this book can help me do that and get me to my Freedom Number.Thank you for choosing such an overhyped book title that can easily get lost in translation. I still don't like the title, but I wouldn't be here leaving this review if you named your book something else that made me hesitant.Like UX/UI. This is simple and functional.

First of all I love the book cover so pretty and eye catching but most importantly this is a must read book for everyone unless you have so much money you don't know what to do with it (and there aren't that many of us) or you are truly content with the state of your life. Having said that if you want extra cash to pay off your bills, save for a vacation, build up a nest egg, quit your day job and be responsible to yourself and have financial freedom, then I highly recommend this book. It is the best business resource book ever written.Noah reveals so much about himself, his antidotes, his failures, disappointments, successes from childhood until now with full disclosure. Some of it written with humour, some with sadness but he doesn't cover anything up or sugar coat rough times which is hard to do in a public forum and I have huge respect for him. In his work and personal experiences he has gained a wealth of knowledge, analyzed situations, and figured out ways to make things work or problem solve. He is so good at never saying no or giving up. I love that about him. Many so called "experts" will tell you to do this or that but not how with such reinforcement and many explanations. Noah also gives examples in every chapter and interactive exercises. He doesn't just talk the talk, he walks the walk. He tells you to do something that he himself has done like the "coffee challenge" to overcome fear of rejection. Brilliant but simple.The book is written so that non business people can understand with plenty some humour but clear and consise.Noah also sincerely and genuinely wants you to succeed and is so happy when you do succeed. He did a video with a man who stayed over his house for a weekend. Jake wanted to start a golfing business where he organized golf trips and he had 48 hours to raise $1,000.00 and get his business up and running. It wasn't easy and by the end of the weekend, Jake had succeeded; and I think Noah was more proud of him than himself. Great video by the way.There is so much more to this book that I urge you to get the book yourself, make time to read it and "live the life you want."

Nice story and very insightful. Speak of obvious things but that we don't put into practice and prevents us from actually launching that business. Only finished Chapter 1 but loving it so far and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to start a business.
