The Dark Knight Rises Batman Bruce Wayne Movie Masters Figure SDCC Comic Con Exclusive 2012

Im a collector and I was looking for this Batman. Another dealer from another site (names changed to protect the guilty) left me hanging. Found you and had Batman in 9 days Thanks for great service.

Great figure, that comes in a cool box that looks like the batcave. I was going to take the figure out, but I left him in the box because he looks too good in there.

The condition of the toy was new as described. The toy was a gift for a child who loves Batman. I am very happy with the purchase and transaction.

Excellent.Ever since I was a boy and in particular having seen the Batman movie with Michael Keaton have I been a big Batman fan. And ever since I was a boy, I have enjoyed collecting various versions of Batman whenever a toy of him has been made as Bruce Wayne from Batman, Batman the Animated Series and Batman Forever. I must admit its truly been a great ride having experienced all three Christopher Nolan Batman movies. That the good people at Mattel Movie Masters have made this action figure for the good people at the San Diego Comic Con only makes me happier.The figure is very good but because its an SDCC exclusive, its really rare to find and quite pricey to buy. Though I was lucky to find one at around $45.This is quite the nice buy. Basically this is a Bruce Wayne action figure that changes into Batman, but what makes this so cool, is that the packaging is a nice little diorama of Wayne Manor and the Batcave. Opening the box properly enables a view of the manor that opens up to a Bruce Wayne action figure that is pretty bare bones. Standing at around 6 inches looking like he did when he and Alfred have their falling out in The Dark Knight Rises - basically form fitting gym clothes. Of all the toys made of Bruce Wayne from movie masters this looks pretty much the most normal looking he appears. The articulation is excellent, with the same articulation other Movie Masters figures.Set up underneath the house is a battery panel that you remove with a screwdriver to install a nice feature when you open it up. Batman Begins and Dark Knight Rises have Batman setup the entry to the Batcave by pressing a set of piano keys and opens the door. This case you press the piano side of the box and it makes an opening sound, but you move the flap as you see the little Batcave that holds the Batman costume. You get that cool stoic feel whenever Batman looks at his costume set up as you remove the costume from the little rack. The box contains instructions to how to put it on and its necessary as you must remove a few things from the action figure of Bruce Wayne as well as putting things on.First you have to remove his boots, then enter the toy into a thick rubbery costume that feels like a really thick glove. Put the Batman boots on so the costume fits tightly on the toy. Next wrap the belt around the figure, then place a very thin rubbery mask on the head that feels like a latex glove or balloon. BE CAREFUL with the mask. I played around with it too tightly around the face and on the face of my other toys and now mine has a little tear around the nose. Also WATCH OUT for the cape, its held on tight to the cowl area with really cheap glue. I repaired the areas with superglue and though the cape is good, the mask is a little worse for wear.The end result is a very cool looking figure. Standing at 6.25 to 6.5 inches, though the figure's articulation is inhibited by the suit, especially around the abdominals, the legs to the side and the arms. I would have preferred a much harder plastic design than the rubbery costume. Included also are several nice accessories, two bronze batarangs, a grapnel gun and the sticky bomb gun that he used in the movies. The batarangs are bigger then they how they appeared in the movie, but I think its better that way.All in all a great collection. Especially now that the Batman series is being rebooted with Ben Affleck as Batman in the DC Extended-Film Universe, this figure is a price collector item. All I can say is that I missed Christian Bale as Batman so much so that I couldn't help but do all I can to find this figure.There are some ups and downs but believe me its well worth it.

This is a wonderful set for an older child, (my son is 8) who still loves Batman. It was exactly the one they showed at Comic Con.

Awsome. Just awsome. Light and sound effects are triggered by a touch on the piano that is part of the packaging.
