Purrdy Paws Soft Nail Caps for Cat Claws Purple Holographic Glitter Small

Two of my cats decided recently to start using my couch as a scratch post. Not cool. I use double stick tape anywhere they start, but I wanted something to prevent damage until they get the message.These were cheap with quick delivery. They're working great. One of them did scream bloody murder the whole time, but they're not big on having their paws touched anyway.I had read some reviews that said the glue f another brand burned when it got on them, so I tested a bit of the glue on my skin to make sure it wasn't painful. Nothing at all, same as regular old super glue.

Our kitty has a habit of obsessively scratching her ear with her hind paw, and these are such a great way to prevent injury! She’s been wearing them for about 7 years now and I haven’t heard any complaints from her!

Neither of my two cats had issues with application, though a couple came off the second day. Need to add into directions for application NOT to slide up onto skin!!!!! the glue made one of my cats toes swollen and red by day two. The sizing makes it hard not to want to slip the caps up as high as they'll go!...all in all I will continue to use and save my furniture!

I put these on my cat and he honestly doesn't even know they are there. They were a breeze to apply (only because my cat has a "whatever" attitude) and have not come off since the first application, well, all except for the two "Thumb" nails. I could not seem to get those to stay on, so I just left them un capped. Maybe those ones need a smaller size?! I'll experiment, but they have not been much of an issue to me to worry about. He isn't one for scratching much and seems to enjoy the caps, or rather, doesn't know the difference between his own claws and the caps. The only reason I put caps on him was because I didn't want him scratching his ears (I'm currently treating him for ear mites), and I have another cat whom is the complete opposite of him. They like to duke it out, and so, I only thought fair that both be capped so, one wouldn't have an advantage over the other. They are both indoor cats, so these are great!

The product is not bad, but I'm glad I started with the cheapest option. My cat is among those who don't love these things. I was able to get 6 of them put on her on my first try. They didn't hurt her, but she protested loudly because she was uncomfortable. The first day she got a couple of them off because she obsessively sat there biting at them for a while. I'm not sure whether I'll try again. She's still scratching the couch...

I got these for my five-month old indoor kitten and within the first 10 minutes she hated it! probably the glue feeling but it has now been a full month and a half and they have not fallen off! She always wakes me up by kneading on my neck but now it doesn't hurt me and she has completely forgotten about them. Within the first 2 days one fell off but that was by user error and they haven't had a problem since. These also came super fast and were cheap! They only come with 20 but i've only used them for her front paws and will last me quite awhile, in any case ill buy more! these are a great alternative to declawing which i will not do considering a friends kitten died because of it and the cruel way they do it. They are also super cute! and will be like getting her nails done every few months, I was surprised at how fast she got used to them and how she doesn't know any different after a day or two! I am in love with the fact she can't hurt me anymore, because kittens can be crazy! :) I will defiantely purchase again.

Work like they are suppose to. Fit great. Some stay on a REALLY long time. Some she gets off in a couple of days. We just glue a new one on. These ones stayed on better then any ones we have tried. They are little tough to get on the cat the first few times. I mean the cat is not going to be happy about it. Duh! But you get a routine that works for both you and the cat. Its nice to have a helper but after awhile I dont even need one now. It gets easier. They do work if you get them on good enough. Sometimes the cat does not cooperate and they dont get on there good enough so she gets them off. But we dont believe in declawing and this is the next best thing. We haven't had to use them in awhile. She has finally stopped clawing our stuff...for now. :/ Silly cat <3

I have had great success with this product. We adopted a 1-year-old that I don’t believe has ever lived in a home. She scratched at everything. We didn’t want to declaw her, especially at this age, so we opted for the caps. It took a little work to get them on, but they stayed for a couple weeks until I cut the tips and removed them. In just those couple weeks, our kitty stopped scratching at everything and we’ve taught her to use a scratching post. These saved my couch and I couldn’t be happier!
