A whole lot of fun
My son really enjoys his Snap Circuits sets. Unlike some STEM kits he returns to the kit over and over as there are many items to build and the builds are interesting enough that he wants to build them repeatedly. The kit comes with a book that describes different ways to configure the set so there is always something new to try. Good quality and if you do break a piece individual replacement parts are available from the manufacturer at a reasonable price.

Great for 7 year old son, mostly a hit
My 7 year old loves building and figuring out how things work. These Snap Circuit sets are perfect for his age, and his 6 year old cousins love them as well. It's a bit too complex for my 5 year old to use though. We purchased this add-on set and it's mostly great. The paper airplane concept is really cool but it was honestly difficult to use, even for the adults. Everything else worked great and was easy to use.

Preteen boy fun!
My 10-year-old son is obsessed with snap circuits. These did not disappoint! So much fun to have a hobby that involves science and construction. Definitely recommend.

Underwhelming
Airplane launcher is really underwhelming. Tried with all kinds of paper but it barely went a couple feet. 3 out of 5 because the circuit board parts are good quality, and the other projects worked well. Not amazing, but fun for a few minutes.

Perfect for 6-11yr old physics-curious kids!
My niece and nephew loved this little science and mechanics set! I’m glad it was multiple activities included. I saw so much joy and excitement in their faces! Great alternative to being on an iPad all day but it does need older kid or adult guidance for instructions. Their grandmother helped them build each activity! Great value for money and great investment!

I followed the instructions step by step and 4 out of 5 of the projects failed and on the last project one of the motors didn’t even work.
