Good story, well told
The story moves along at a good pace. It doesn't try to tell so !such that it slips important actions or scenes, nor does it lag. The dialogue, in general, helps to move the story, giving good detail without getting too much in the weeds. Enjoyable read.

Detective Comics Series Remains a Blast to Read Thanks to the Return of Tim Drake (In More Ways Than One)
After the events of the Oz Effect, the mysterious Mr. Oz has been revealed as Jor-El. Tim Drake, one of a select group of individuals secreted away to Jor-El's secret base of operations, is still presumed dead by most of the world, but with the previous volume's revelations from Zatanna that Tim is alive, Batman is desperate to find his missing ward. When Jor-El leaves to confront his son in the pages of Oz Effect, Tim takes his moment to free himself from Jor-El's captivity and make contact with Batman. However, the man who comes to his rescue is not Bruce Wayne but Tim's own future self under the cowl. Throwing back to Geoff Johns' classic Teen Titans series from the Infinite Crisis era, the future Tim Drake is a dark and broken man who took up the mantel of the bat and became more brutal than Bruce ever dared to be. When the future Tim realizes that the timeline has changed (thanks to all that Dr. Manhattan meddling) he decides to save his younger self from his fate by killing the person who ruins Tim's life: Batwoman (apparently). Tim has to reunite with the rest of the Team and his extended Bat Family to prevent his own future self from ruining the present by killing Kate Kane and reactivating that old Bat foe Brother Eye. Tynion's series remains an absolute highlight with great connections to the pre-New 52 timeline and the current world of DC's comics. The return of the evil Tim Drake Batman is good enough, but his fun interactions with the characters make him even better while sowing the seeds for the eventual climax of "the Colony" story arc. The volume also contains a solid arc that shows what Spoiler has been up to since leaving the team; Stephanie is now linked up with Anarky and his plans to help revitalize Gotham in his own way, which unfortunately involves the Victim Syndicate introduced in the second volume of the series.

Time-traveling Tim Drake is back and ready to cause chaos
A time-traveling Tim Drake returns from a future Gotham in order to kill the woman who tears his entire world apart. Despite being very Tim Drake-centric, this run of Detective Comics takes an interesting (if often-used) angle and runs with it. The ‘Gotham Knights” team band together to confront the threat. What ensues raises some fascinating questions about what it means to be a part of the Batman’s inner circle, and the terrible cost associated with it. Definitely not your usual Batman story, but a good read nonetheless. Interested to see where Vol. 6 takes us.

The Return Of Tim Drake Red Robin in a unexpected way
The 2017 A Lonely Place of Living Detective Comics Story-Arc (which I read as it came) is both great and interesting with unexpected Continuity deep cut and also paying respect to the 1989 Batman A Lonely Place of Dying from 28 years earlier (which I have also read too) By Marv Wolfman And Pat Broderick which featured the debut of Tim Drake respectively, thou one complaint being that #963 and #964 and told after #965-#968 in this TBP and the book was near perfect shape

Interesting developments
The story of Tim Drake takes a fascinating turn in this story, a kind of science fiction tale. I especially liked the way one of the issue covers paid homage to the Tim Drake stories of years ago. The book also includes an entertaining Clayface story at the end.

Exciting
Tim Drake is finally returned by Oz except there's two of him.. The Tim Drake we know and love and a dark Tim/Batman reminiscent of Geoff Johns Teen Titans where the group went to the future and they were all evil. Questions still loom about other team members.
