A very good value
I've been riding with this jacket for a little over a week, in temperatures ranging from the low 40's to the mid-70's. Thus far, I've been very happy with the garment. It seems to be well made, with quality materials. On colder mornings, I've found that a thin base layer with a wool mid-layer keeps me toasty warm. On the warmer afternoons, I use just a shirt with the liner in the jacket and my comfort level is also just right. As advertised, the jacket does a great job of keeping the wind out, which I believe is the secret to the jacket's warmth. I can not speak to the jacket's durability in a crash, and I hope I never can. However, I have no reason to believe that it wouldn't do it's job under that condition as well. The sizing is good; at 6'4" tall and 200lbs I ordered an XL, and the fit is just right. The soft micro fleece/tricot collar liner is a nice bonus, and eliminates any potential for chafing. I would have preferred zippered gussets at the wrists, but the pleated Velcro closures seem to work well enough, and I can't really complain about cold air coming in at those points. The zipper in the rear of the jacket mates well to my rain pants (of different manufacture). The manufacturer seems to have gotten it right with this product.

Great protection and breaks all the wind
By far the best bang for your buck. It's kind of stiff. It's hit during the summer even with vents. But the protection you get is well worth it. It's excellent for Spring and Fall riding. Literally breaks all the wind off you. If you have sweats on under it and good gloves, you can ride in 40 degree weather no problem.

Great riding jacket
This is a low budget riding jacket but fits great the delivery was fast, it is snug but that is because of the pads other than feels great and for cooler weather works pretty awesome also it works ok in light rain.

Its fine
It works fine for a winter jacket, the material is wind resistant as advertised, but you will get wind through the front zipper at higher speeds, so I do wear a vest or a thicker hoodie under it and still wear proper layers on the colder days. Not sure about the water resistants yet. Got caught in a good down pour the day before the suit came in but have not got caught in one since the suit has come in. But will update when I do. The thickness of the material and padding seem to be sufficient protection, but not really trying to go out and test it any time soon, unless I was compensated to do so. I do like the over all style and look of the jacket, and it is reasonably priced.

Best budget gear
Can't beat this jacket for the price. The liner keeps you warm down to around 40° and the vents work good. Would definitely recommend to anyone on a budget

Look No More!! You found the Best Bang 4 Ur Buck!!
This is the second HWK jacket purchase I've made. My hubby got this one with HWK pants he just hasn't tried yet. We road 12/31 &1/1/24 and tested this one out. He loved it! The vents are really nice, the armor is logistically placed, if not better place than his Alpinestars in comparison. The fit was good. I have the ladies version from 2 yrs ago and I knew he wanted a better lined one than the $300 new one he just bought. Score again for HWK!!!

Good cheap jacket
I think it's a excellent motorcycle jacket for the price. Fits well and has a removable liner. Tough and holds up riding through brush and branches.
