Panzer Tracts No.9-3: Jagdpanther

At first, I couldn't find much information out there describing what the Panzer Tracts book had to offer aside from knowing they have detailed CAD drawings of the Tanks the books are based on. But after purchasing this one on the Jagdpanther (No.9-3), I am happy to say that not only is there a tremendous number of CAD drawings found within, but there is also a great amount of History of the Jagdpanther within the book as well. From describing its early production process, detailing many of its design modifications/ changes throughout its life, to explaining combat history and tactics. There are at least 60 very detailed and rare photos of Jagdpanthers that I could not even find on the internet. I was expecting to pretty much only get CAD drawings which I would have been fine with as I was planning on using them for modeling my 1/16th scale RC Jagdpanther. I definitely received more than I was expecting. There is a large number of information found in this book that I simply could not find online. The only places online I partially found such information were on forums referencing this exact book! Now that I have it, I don't have to take some random person's word for it and can look up the facts myself. The book is 98 pages of history. 42 of those pages are of CAD drawings. The rest is of very rare History and Historical photos. I highly, highly recommend this book.As far as the issues go, I have only found 2. These two are shared in the pictures I attached to this review. The CAD drawings of the "Armored guards for Exhaust pipes (page 76)" and "Modified Panther Ausf. A rear stowage bins (page 78)" had some sort of error when being drawn on the CAD program they used before they were printed. I hope this is something that gets corrected in the future as these books are very well put together and correcting these two issues would essentially leave the book flawless.These books are very hard to find at times so I highly recommend getting one as soon as you can! Ein tolles Heft. Gut recherchiert mit vielen guten Fotos und jeder Menge Maßstabsgerechten Zeichnungen. Eine wahre Fundgrube und super Grundlage für den Modellbauer um seinen Modellen ein Upgrade zu verpassen.
