Armstrong Wild Bird Food Premium Blend, 30.8 Pounds - with White Millet, Black Oil Sunflower, Wheat, Peanuts, Striped Sunflower and Safflower for Northern Cardinals and Black-Capped Chickadees

Been feeding my birds oiled sunflower seeds, but wanted to entice more songbirds to the feeder with other types of seed. After much study + trial and error, this brand did the trick - now get visits from chickadees, wrens, scrub jays, cardinals, wood peckers, doves, ravens and even a small owl. The seed mixture is the best I have found and the price is fair for the weight, but I do enhance the concoction with meal worms and extra oiled sunflower seeds.

I was impressed that this is not overloaded with milo, cor bits, and junk grains that wind up on the ground only to grow plants unless there are a lot of doves to eat it. Very quick delivery too! I will reorder for sure since two years of drought and unexpected ice, snow and freezing temps now have left the birds with little food sources to get through until spring or summer. The moisture is much appreciated since I lost perennials and shrubs even after watering. Even the does with twins and triplets are seen on my wildlife cam eating at my feeders.

Here’s actual pictures of the bag. Note how much lighter the actual mix is due to the enormous amount of millet content. The ingredients shown in the ad falsely indicate relative percentages of the ingredients. That’s why they don’t list them in order. In 2 columns so they can have plausible deniability. Yet another company just not being honest. No repeat order.

Much better mix than many we've purchased, good variety and lots of bigger seeds. Will definitely buy again.

I like the large bag, good price. Seeing different variety of birds. My mom is enjoying it.

Glad I bought 30 lbs of garbage. All the finches and some other song birds stopped showing up as soon as I filled the feeder with this. Now I have starlings and sparrows.

More than half the bag is shelled sunflowers - not as advertised. Very disappointed in the mix in this bag. sunflowers were supposed to be the 2nd ingredient - not the overwhelmingly highest one.
