Carhartt Men's Yukon Extremes Wind Fighter Fleece Vest (Big & Tall)

I'm 5'10" tall and 185 lbs. The medium fits me perfectly, and fits snug just below the waist. Vest is very warm and comfortable - I often use it instead of a jacket in weather down to 40 degrees F. Breast pocket fits my S23 Galaxy Ultra phone. One comment on the description: Inner pockets are neither zip nor "hook and loop" (i.e. Velcro). They are simply deep and wide vertical pockets, left and right, with no closure. Responding to complaints in other reviews: The collar folds down and is comfortable, but the collar point do stick straight out in the front. I do not think the arm holes are too small - they are just right for me.

Great vest! Warm and made very well chose Carhartt over Patagonia, North Face or Rei, their fleece looked too cheaply made( even their high dollar garments) so I went with Carhartt, fleece is thick, ykk zippers are very large and pockets are actually big enough to put your hands in! and tail of vest extends down past your belt which the other manufacturers didn't. Really satisfied, going to buy their Yukon Extremes fleece jacket also!!! Go with Carhartt!!!

Nice vest. Fits well. I'm 200 lbs 5 foot 11 inches ordered a large. The stiff collar can be turned down.

Style and functionality.

So I'll admit I am becoming a vest-bro and I thought this would make a good alternative for office wear as a Patagonia/north face alternative. Well, yes and no. It is, unsurprisingly, real work wear. It's stiff, coarse around the edges, and very warm. Almost too toasty for indoors regardless of how aggressive the A/C is being used during the winter. I am a feeble southwestern IT nerd and I survived a walk around the block at 40 degrees with only this vest and a long-sleeve shirt - warm. That said, I'll definitely be keeping it, just for actual outdoor use, and it will probably last a lifetime.

Such a great vest. You could definitely put this under a light jacket and your ready!

I've had it for five-minutes and it's already one of my favourites. I would have liked it just a bit thicker, but it's still pretty good, very well made, and has a good selection of pockets. It's not inexpensive, but it's quality workwear. I'm 5"11 and 190, and a large is perfect. Roomy, not baggy, and hangs low enough. I have room for a sweatshirt or fleece underneath and with my Carhartt Knoxville vest on top, it fits close but isn't too tight. It's a great work setup for winter. I might buy the jacket version with the hood as well.

This is a great looking vest. The fleece isn’t to fluffy and girly. And the top fabric is a tough waterproof looking fabric. I bought it for my husband cause he has the duck canvas vest and it pops up to his ears when he sits.This vest is flexible enough to wear probably and looks super good on

Great vest, I usually wear an XL but a large fits great even with a medium weight hoodie underneath. With that combo I’m comfortable in temperatures as low as -10 celcius. Great windbreak and the sherpa neck feels great! Tempted to buy the hoodie.
