My daughter loves to dress up on Halloween and other occasions. She likes to pretend that she's an animal sometimes. But she's also very young. She loves it

I don't really want to be a wolf myself, but my kid does. She wanted something that looked realistic not cartoonish or babyish and this really fit what she wanted.

This is a straightforward fox/cat/wolf cosplay set consisting of a mask, paws and a tail.Mask: Unlike many other sets which provide headband ears, the headpiece here is a full on masquerade mask; it's rigid and hard, and the effect when wearing it is something closer to a Japanese kitsune festival mask (except fuzzy). It fastens on with a simple elastic band, and there are three foam pads that keep it from rubbing uncomfortably against your face. It works, but I found the nosepiece covering my nose to be a bit restrictive to the point where I kind of felt like I was breathing stray fur. It's also narrower than I'd hoped, so the sides of my head are still visible around the left and right sides and the ears don't make much of an impact - it's definitely more youth than adult sized.Paws: These are pretty straightforward - they're essentially fingerless gloves with a fuzzy fur back and a fabric palm with a palm pattern. They're practical for wearing at a party or event because you can still interact with stuff, but they don't hide your fingers, which gives them a bit of an odd appearance.Tail: This is maybe the weakest part of the set, unfortunately. The tail is rigid and poseable, which can be cute but also really affects the realism - it's more like a giant furry pipe cleaner than a kinetic tail with motion. There's no texture or color change at the tip, and it's a bit less fuzzy/fluffy than it appears in the listing photo (although perhaps it will fluff up with use now that it's out of the shipping package). It's also narrower than I'd envisioned, which hurts the realism a bit, too.The waist band is elastic and fastens easily with a backpack style clasp; while it's adjustable and stretchy, the band is on the smaller side and it's not particularly size-inclusive. It's certainly fine for all youth sizes and many adults, but I would have liked to see an extra inch or two. You could always rig up a small extender, though, as the buckles are pretty standard. The strap is also pretty visible and hiding it as part of a costume might be a challenge - having a wide belt would be one solution. Tucking this under a skirt, kilt or other flowy garment is another option you might consider, but the length of the tail is pretty short, so that might be a fairly impractical idea as well.In all three pieces, the faux fur likes to shed (a lot), so keep that in mind. It is, however, fairly pleasant to touch and doesn't feel obviously fake; the coloration is pretty uniform, though.If you're looking for a turnkey solution for a single day or two at a Halloween party, and if realism isn't really your goal, this is a fun set that you could accessorize with a matching outfit and have an easy costume ready to go. If you're trying to build a more complex cosplay character, I don't think any of these pieces are going to really meet your goals, though. And if your reason for considering the kit is the tail, keep in mind that's probably the weakest element of the set.

My 10 year old asked for this as she still love to make believe that she’s an animal. She’s had so much fun with it.

This costume set it wonderful! My LO's love to play pets and dress up, so I got this for them. As soon as I opened the package they were in love! It has super soft, real feeling fur. The tail has an adjustable strap to fit around anyones waist. The mask was a little uncomfortable for my face but fits theirs perfectly. The fingerless gloves really pull the whole thing together as well. The fur is so realistic that it adds so much charm to it. I like that you can adjust the tail too, with the wire inside, it doesn't just hang lifelessly.

My daughter didn’t like it very much because it’s very stiff! The tail and is really stiff and the mask is not fitting properlyAfter heating up the sides (under the eye space ) we could readjust it a bit …. Overall it’s ok !

My daughter loved it so much but the gloves/paws were both for the right hand, didn’t like that
