Strong bolts, great for woodwork
Having replaced a custom made table in the house recently, I repurposed it for the garage (by repurpose, I mean cut it up and changed the shape). It has scaffolding tubing as the legs and support braces, and I had never been that impressed with how they had attached to the table top. I was able to use these to secure the legs much better, and was lucky to have a whole garage of washers and bolts that worked with them. Would be better I think to include those things with a set like this, as not having them may mean confusion for some customers trying to source the correct size and pitch.

Accurate sized M8x50mm carriage bolts, they’re silver despite the images making them look grey/black
The images on the listing make these look like they’re black nickel plated or covered in black oxide, but that's just a trick of the light in the photographs. These are 100% silver nickel stainless steel bolts to clarify, and if you study the pictures you’ll find they look silver if you zoom in. They arrived in a folded over resealable pouch secured with a sticker, and inside I got exactly 25 of them. I measured these up and found that they’re almost exactly 50mm from the end of the bolt to the point where the curve on the mushroom head ends, which also has a diameter of 19.75mm. The square section under the mushroom head measures at 8.5mm, which is the size of the square hole you’d need to have this secure itself into the material.Mechanically speaking the bolts are made to an excellent standard but they aren’t finished to a mirror shine or anything. The plating/finish on them is what I'd describe as dull silver and they’ve got quite a lot of marks and scratches all over them. So if you’re after a cosmetically perfect carriage bolt with a mirror shine, these aren’t going to fit the bill. Though for anyone else they’re all made to a consistent level of quality with clean threads and they’re perfectly functional despite the cosmetic blemishes. I’ve had no trouble threading these into a hand-tapped M8 hole or a standard M8 nut.The price is absolutely fine for A2 bolts of this size and quality, it is unfortunate you don’t get some washers and nuts alongside them but they’re super easy to find if you don’t already have some. The same size A2 bolts from a brick and mortar store would easily cost in the region of £10 for a pack of just 10 bolts.

Robustly made and accurate thread size
A pack of 25 M8 (8mm thread) x 50mm long carriage bolts, with no nuts included. The bolts are fully threaded to the 20mm mushroom headed top.The bolts are made of a polished stainless steel, so won’t rust if used for outdoor jobs.I’m renovating a Dunkirk veterans' plaque and needed new carriage bolts to secure the plaque to a post. All the threads were neatly cut, and I didn’t have any problems securing nuts onto them.I’m happy to recommend.

Fine bolts, but selling without washers or nuts
I like bolts like these and use them frequently as they are strong and can look good too. Selling without bolts and nuts though it's just a way to split the cost of buying what is needed into smaller transactions and I see no good reason for that other than perhaps to make them seem cheaper.

Rubbish
Photo clearly showed these bolts as being black.Which is why I brought them as I need black

Great quality
These stainless steel bolts are great quality, and have no burrs and have nice clean threads. The pack contains 25x M8 x50mm carriage bolts with a mushroom head.(The hexagonal nuts are separate pack)I would happily recommend.

Really like them
The media could not be loaded. They do the job and are amazing holding but a nightmare to put them in, they need bolts if not they don’t have no cuts on top to screw them in unless you make some

Good value for money
The bolts came in a plastic zipper bag. They are quite big, 5 cm long and 8mm thick with a 2 cm wide head. I have some screws for them, so I would use them in my next project. They seems be decent quality at a good price.
