Pure RomanceShower Gel & Bubble Bath, Love Story

This stuff smells AMAZING!!! It bubbled up great and my wife used it and smelled great all day. Some shower gels make her itchy but this one didn't--great product!

This gel/bubble bath lathered up nicely and has a really nice scent that isn't too fake or strong. It left my skin feeling clean and moisturized.

First, let me say I am so relieved I was able to obtain Pure Romance products without having to go to a Pure Romance party. That right there deserves five stars. This works great as a shower gel and bubble bath. Shower gel produces a rich lather that smells delicious and leaves my skin fragrant and soft. As a bubble bath, it makes lots and lots of big, luxurious bubbles, without the need to use half the bottle of product. I really enjoyed the smell of this. A rich, amber scent, that is perfect for nighttime soaks in the tub...especially in the winter time. Overall, very happy with this.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product. I'll start with the positive here though, and that is the scent (I got the "Love Story"), which smells just as described: a warm, ambery vanilla. It does smell stronger straight out of the bottle than it does once lathered, at which point it is very faint and barely noticeable. I would have preferred it if it was stronger, but the scent itself was very nice.Now the cons. The product was extremely drying. It sucked the moisture right out of my skin which I could discern right after lathering. My hands pruned up right away in the shower and after getting out left my skin super dry and a tad itchy (due to dryness, not a reaction). I'm quite sure this is because the first active ingredient is a sulfate (it's the second ingredient, coming after only water). Most modern body washes strive to not contain any sulfates whatsoever, as they dry out the skin and can actually cause reactions in some people. So, for $20 a bottle, this was extremely disappointing to see it as the first active ingredient.The other thing is that it arrived with the protective seal unattached to the bottle and wedged up into the cap. This had two effects: 1) it arrived leaking with soap all over, and 2) it left the squeeze cap non-functional so I have to remove the cap to get the product out.The cap thing may have been a fluke, but body washes in this price range (or any, really) should not contain sulfates. Even if there isn't a reaction, the effect will always be to dry out your skin. The scent was nice though. If they had a sulfate-free version, I would try that.

Pure Romance Shower and Bubble Bath, Love Story is a shower gel with a romantic fragrance that smells and feels like a high end product. The 8fl oz bottle holds a clear gel with distinct notes of warm vanilla and amber. When pairing the gel with a loofah, it created a fluffy lather. It did a fantastic job cleansing my skin and rinsed off effortlessly. The fragrance that I liked so much remained faintly on my skin after the shower was over. After several showers, I have noticed that my skin feels moisturized and there is an added softness to my skin. The bonus is that this product can also be used as a bubble bath. You just need to pour it under the warm water as you fill your tub. I only wish the bottle was larger! This would make a wonderful addition to a homemade gift basket to encourage self care for a loved one or as a treat yourself gift to make your bathing time a relaxing experience. The gel is Made in the USA. This is a shower gel that I will definitely add again to my Amazon cart.

This is a good shower gel/bubble bath. It's got a good, sweet smell that I liked. It's thick and cleansing with a great lather.One thing to note - this product has a STRONG perfume. If you're sensitive to smell you might not like it. It's also a smaller bottle than you might expect; make sure not to overdo it.Overall, I liked this product and I would recommend it.

I loved the feminine scent of this shower gel. It lathered very easily with my net shower puff and made shaving my legs in the shower very easy. The lather lasts longer than most other products. The shower gel left me feeling moisturized, as well. I adore nicely scented shower gels. The use of these gels can greatly influence my mood and shower experience so I am willing to spend a little more to get a shower product that I enjoy. This one comes in a pretty bottle and would be a great addition to a pampering gift basket.

I really enjoy this product it smells delicious and I really like the way leaves my skin soft and smooth. I also enjoy the bubbles that it makes in a bath. I also think it's a great value for the size of bottle that you get.
