What a wonderful gift for a brother who spends a great deal of time outdoors! It is extremely well-made with many useful functions. The scissors, cork screw, knife blades, screwdrivers and other features are perfect for so many occasions! The toothpick is great!

This knife is great for EDC! I would prefer 2 or 3 layers, and this one is 4; however the file/metal saw is a very nice addition! It's good for filing rough edges on wood, metal, or PVC. Also makes a good nail file/cleaner. In a pinch, the top can be used as a Phillip's screwdriver.This model fits in the small jeans pocket, too without being uncomfortable. I've had several Victorinox SAKs over the past 30 years or so and I've never been let down by the quality of their products. The price is very reasonable for the amount of utility they offer, in addition to their great warranty! Whether you buy this model or another Victorinox, you can't go wrong! I plan to be a customer for life!

This was a gift for my spouse and he was extremely happy with the quality and features offered in this model. My spouse is very familiar with numerous brands of pocket knives so I hesitate purchasing this item do to my lack of knowledge on the product. I remembered that he said this brand, Victorinox Swiss Army pocket knives, always performed and were far superior in craftmanship. Thank you for continuing to sell Victorinox on Amazon.

Great Swiss Army knife, I especially like the larger scissors and the great file. All the other tools are as good as can be expected from Victorinox, great.

Depending on what your day-to-day life looks like, this might be a better choice than the ever-popular Explorer.Would you use a magnifying glass an inline Phillips driver more, or a file?The screwdriver tip on the can opener can often turn Phillips screws, but not if they are recessed in a hole. If you have a particularly tight screw, it won't work well either, as it will either fold up and cause you to bust your knuckles, or just bend. In those cases, the inline Phillips works better.However here, the file is quite a nice tool. It can file metal, wood, or plastic, as well as fingernails, in a pinch. (it's quite aggressive for fingernails, but will get the job done if you're careful) I wish they made a version of this with a Phillips on the back, instead of the corkscrew.

Used to pick rosters off rocks in bay of isles in New Zealand. Knife strong even could handleboysters with screw driver.

OK, I actually preferred an older model they no longer make (called "The Motorist") which had an even better blade selection and was slightly smaller, but I finally lost it after carrying it since i was 12 -- I'm now 68 -- so I got a new one. this one's been just fine, though I'd trade that silly hook thing for a phillips head screwdriver blade any day. I also have no real use for the little key-ring attachment. Still, it's a great knife and pocket tool-kit, and the Victorinox warranty is for a lifetime -- I know cause I used it twice on the old knife when the red-shell cracked after the knife fell from a height. They even replaced the lost toothpick and tweezer. (Though, I gotta admit, the tweezer is a bit too flexible, so not particularly useful for splinters.)

I bought this after i lost one that was given to me on my birthday and i had for a decade and well... Swiss Army knives are great. Super sharp! Well made and always a pleasure to have.
