Powerful and easy to use
Set up was easy. Cable was really long. Easy to use as long as you follow instructions. Don’t over load or force too much down at once. Chopped up branches, twigs and plants nice and small into bag with no mess. If it should get blocked, which mine didn’t, it’s easy enough to clear and clean. Of course it’s loud it’s a powerful motor chopping wood. Overall it’s a great machine for garden pruning for composting. Worth the money. Made easy work of my lot.

Value for money shredder
For the price paid this is a good shredder and does the job fine, yes it is a bit noisy but not a real issue. Tackles branches well as long as they are within the size guidelines, although have to say the straighter the branches the better as does not like those with kinks, these have to be cut to put through the machine.Very happy with the purchase.

Very impressed.
I bought this for occasional use (yearly) on my garden hedge. I had let my hedge get a bit out of control and missed cutting it one year so the branches were quite think. This chipper has done a fantastic job getting through my hedge cutting. Not just cutting with a trimmer but has managed to chip branches I have struggled to lop off. Makes the cutting very small and much easier to put out for bin men to collect. The same sort of volume would have taken months to get rid of if it wasn’t put through this chipper.

Efficient shredder
Compact, easy to set up, and performs well. Stay within the limits regarding maximum width of branches - this includes any side spurs - so look at the size of the feed aperture. Wear gloves as once the machine takes hold of the branch it's quick and powerful. Good value for money.

Mighty little machine
It is a little bit noisy but does a fantastic job. Very simple to put together and move around the garden. It has a decent length flex feels pretty solid. I had an enormous amount of greenery to get rid of and it dealt with it almost effortlessly. Would recommend to anyone who has a lot of trees and shrubs to keep trimmed.

I've changed my view on this a little
I was really hoping this would be good as the blurb says it can do 45mm but it couldn't even handle twigs without a lot of shoving with the plastic shover. Even with very straight branches it struggled to shred effectively. When it did work it soon gets blocked up at the bottom or the twigs got wrapped around the blade. It was really hard word and often just stripped the bark off.It was more effort to use it than is reasonable.Very disappointed. Not value for money and very noisy.Update; my original review was using it with the conifers I was trying to shred and with them, my original review stands. However having used it with our huge magnolia I have a different view overall. On the magnolia and probably any normal tree it does well. It shreds well but you have to push the branches through and the plunger is not very good as the end is round so just slides over everything you try and push.
