Rain-X Pro 620213 3-in-1 Bug, Tar and Adhesive Remover, 16oz - Premium Bug, Tar and Adhesive Remover to Help Clean and Remove Sticky Contaminants

I spot-sprayed this and allowed it dwell for a bit (1-2 minutes) on some sap droplets that had previously resisted both strip wash and iron remover. They flaked off with some light scrubbing from a microfiber. Very effective, at least for the sap droplets I was dealing with! A couple of suggestions: - If you've found this product and aren't familiar with the basics of auto detailing, do yourself a favor and go watch some videos on the subject. This product addresses a very specific problem. It is powerful and, if you use it alone, as opposed to one step in a larger wash, you could run into issues. - I don't see any reason to coat a panel with this. Spot spray it on the problem or problem areas, and immediately wipe off any drips or runs out the area. Or, do like another reviewer suggests and apply it to a microfiber instead of the panel. - Minimally, I would rinse the panel you apply this to, as it will likely strip waxes and coatings. Ideally, I'd use this product at the beginning or mid-way through a car wash, so that you can soap down the entire vehicle and apply/reinforce any wax or ceramic coat products you've applied previously. If you find more sap spots that need attention after drying, don't be lazy. Wash the vehicle down again and reapply coating.

Product works really well and removes hard bug stains. I sprayed my entire front of car and then ran it thru a commercial car wash...worked perfectly.

A+ Ok, So I must preface this review because I used it for an off label use. But if Rain X is smart they might run with this! I used it for my business. I rehab house. It does an amazing job removing some of the foulest stuff from some of these disgusting houses. Caked on stuff on windows. Sticky nasty stuff on cabinets probably from mice and other pests. I used Grease Lightning and Goo Be Gone and they didn’t do as well. This stuff is amazeballs!

Used it to clean pecan tree sap from truck. Works well, but I had to scrub and spray areas more than once to remove the sap. Works on paint and glass. As others noted, it does leave a film, so I had to follow up with glass cleaner on the windows before driving. I am ordering again, as the spray bottle did not do the entire truck (it was pretty bad).

Excellent for removing those bugs on the front of my car without doing any damage to the paint. Spray it on wait a minute and wipe off. So easy!

This worked amazing! I had hardened tar and asphalt on my car from having to swerve into a not-yet-completely-dry asphalt road construction site to avoid a head on collision. I have had this tar on my car for over 2 years. I've taken it to numerous auto body shops and auto detail shops and told they couldn't fix it because the asphalt was too hard and tough. One shop quoted me $10k to replace the side skirts, fenders, angle grind my driver and passenger door then repaint the doors. I tried this product as a last ditch effort and it worked! I went through 3 full bottles and it took about 10-12 hrs worth of cleaning split over a weekend to get off. I've attached a couple before/after photos. I had tar around the entire car, these were just the worst spots. Tips for product use: soak the area you want to clean and give it a few mins to start working. Use a microfiber cloth and get the cloth wet with the cleaning product too. You will use multiple cloths. Constant, soft scrubbing motions on the metal door will slowly break down the asphalt, but it'll take time and a good amount of effort. For the plastic/fiberglass side skirts, the asphalt was much harder to get off. I also used a drywall putty knife to help scrape off the larger asphalt chunks, being careful to not scratch the car paint.

Works pretty good on the windshield, yet does not get the bugs all off on the paint.

I would give this product 10 stars if I could. I have a ‘22 Tesla Model 3 that has paint protection film on the entire body of the car. And for the past year or so I’ve been noticing splash marks on the side of the car, on the doors, on the fenders and rear bumper just behind the wheels. Unfortunately, I did not take before (and after) pictures. I’ve tried other types of bug removers that worked but had to use them multiple times to fully get all sticky splash residue from rain, road grime, etc…. off. I spray it on just before entering the car wash. But this one from Rain-X took all of the marks out in one application. I didn’t check the car when it just finished washing at the car wash when I drove it home. But when I got home and fully checked it, I was AMAZED at how good it worked! It took everything out and made the car looked like as if nothing was ever there!!! I think what makes this product better than the others is it also removes adhesives. On Prime Day yesterday, it was on sale so I bought another three of them as I will always need it.

This worked great for getting off the bugs and tree sap. I have a vinal ppf car wrap and this is safe to use being a water base product.

水性のリムーバーということで購入してみました。 溜まってしまって落ちなくなってしまった汚れを落とすのに使ってみたところ、きれいに落ちてくれました。 スプレーして拭き取るような感じの説明ですが、原液洗剤のようなベタッとして拭いても伸びてしまう液剤のため、ある程度拭き取ったあと水で流しました。さっと拭き取れるものをイメージしていたので、その辺りは予想外でしたが使える製品だと思います。クロスにスプレーした方が良いのかもしれません。
