I love that this product does not constipate you like most other iron vitamins do. I don’t mind the flavor, but a lot of people do not like it. I doubled the use because my numbers were 7 for the first week then did recommend amount. By my next visit in a month my iron was at a 10-11 range. Success!!! Seen improvement in all my friends and family with this item. Worth every penny!!!

I had anemia all my life. The kind where they spin your blood for a quick hemoglobin count and then look at you with real concern to ask if you're okay... because you shouldn't be. I needed surgery to help fix this issue, but my iron was way too low for me to even safely have the surgery. The doctor said I needed to take Floradix or have a transfusion. Floradix did it. 2 shots, twice daily, and my iron was high enough in 3 weeks to pass the pre-op bloodwork!I was skeptical. I had done ferrous sulfate in all its crazy forms. With Vitamin C. With amino acids wrapped around. I swear, if there was a version with it wrapped in unicorn drool, I would have tried it. Ferrous sulfate just killed my GI system. I hated it - if you didn't already get that. The Floradix, however, tastes like Ricola without the sugar. I use it every time I want to donate my blood to the vampires... I mean blood bank. I'm now eligible to do the Power Red donations because I can get my iron levels high enough! I'm so glad my surgeon recommended it, and I share it with anyone who will listen. If you are struggling with iron issues, this will be the biggest help you will find without having the side effects ferrous sulfate brings.

Bought this thinking it was the original floradix. It wasn’t and I did not trust the consistency so I threw it out. Waste of time.

I buy this regularly. This particular one was cheaper than the other options listed so I got it. But the packaging is not in English and the taste is different. It has less flavor and the consistency is thinner.

This is my second pregnancy taking Floradix. First time around I tested quite anemic and my midwife recommended I start Floradix right away. Just taking the normal dose for a few weeks I was able to bring my numbers well in to the normal range, and thanks to Floradix have the out of hospital birth I wanted. This pregnancy I started taking it preemptively around 20 weeks. Currently nearing 29 weeks and feeling much less fatigue then I did with the first pregnancy. Haven't had my levels tested yet, but as good as I feel this time I'm feeling pretty confident (will update after testing). I also enjoy the taste, kind of a nondescript fruit flavor. We are a vegetarian family and my son is a VERY picky eater so I've been worried about his iron. Started sneaking the kid size dose into his orange juice and even with his almost extra sensory ability to detect whenever I try to change his food in the slightest, it has gone undetected for the several weeks I've been giving it to him. And the dark circles under his eyes have improved!All in all I'm thoroughly satisfied with this product and intend to continue it with my family. :)

A friend recommended Floradix to me after I received a blood transfusion for my low hemoglobin numbers. Before my transfusion, my hemoglobin test showed me at a 5, which is very low. My blood transfusion brought me up to a 7, and I did feel better, but not where I needed to be. My doctor told me to take iron pills so we could get the number up. Iron supplements gave me a stomach ache and caused constipation. So I ordered the Floradix and started taking it twice a day before a meal. You only take a small amount in the little cup that comes with it, and it has a taste of the mixed juices that is in it. Its easy to take, doesn't constipate you, and within a month, I was feeling so much better. I kept taking it for about 2 months and went back to the doctor for another hemoglobin test, and I was up to 13. I told the doctor that I was taking Floradix, and he said whatever I was doing was working and to keep doing it. The next time I went in, my number was at 15, so he told me I should probably stop before I got too much iron. Now I take it every so often just to keep my numbers up or for a boost. This stuff really works. I was so glad that I could get it through Amazon rather than driving 40 miles to buy it. Thanks Amazon, I love your website. I can find anything I need. Uso este producto desde hace muchísimos años. Lo compro siempre tras una convalecencia o momentos en los que noto mis defensas bajas. El bote grande dura aproximadamente 15 días y el sabor es dulzón, se toma muy bien. Apenas crea estreñimiento como el resto de medicamentos que llevan hierro en su composición. Lo recomiendo.

Wife was low in iron, got this as she'd used it before years ago (before menopause). Her iron is up and so is her energy. The doctor thought it was the pills she'd prescribed, but they don't work that well, hence buying Floradix. You need that which is absorbed, and liquids are usually the best.
