36X Telephoto Lens, Evil eye High Power HD Telephoto Phone Lens with Tripod and Phone Clip, Compatible with All iPhones and Android Phones

Took these as soon as the lens arrived. (iPhone 11 Pro Max) The first pic, regular cam with no zoom. The second pic, with telephoto lens and camera zoomed to 10x. The second is a little out of focus but I haven't had a lot of time to practice yet. That is a common Loon by the way. Just noted a couple of things so far;1. The lens ring needs to have the tripod screwed into it so it does not move around. I'd use caution on how hard you screw the tripod into the ring, you may be able to dent the lens tube.2. The trickiest part is making sure the lens hole in the camera holder is PERFECTLY centered. If you see any dark areas in your pic, it is not centered.3. I was pleasantly surprised that I can still use the cameras digital zoom with the telephoto lens in place.4. Telephoto lens is OK as a monocular, just a very small field of view.5. Regarding that field of view, when you are using the camera's zoom, keep on eye on your subject. Very easy to lose in the picture, very hard to find again without zooming out to start over.Overall, after 30 minutes of play time, I am very happy and only expect to take better pics with more experience.UPDATE: 05/03 So I've had some time to play with this and I am still impressed. My biggest hint to getting great pics with this is "NO VIBRATION" allowed. None, not even touching the shutter button on the phone. Get a Bluetooth remote shutter button for your phone and use it. For iPhone, Apple Watch owners, use the remote camera function on the watch! I added another pic that was meant to show my friends what it is and can do.

It’s too wobbly used freehand and blurry. Ok if fixed mounted. Picture out of focus. Difficult to realign with phone camera even with clip already in place.

The lens wouldn't fit on an iPhone 14 Pro. I took a gamble with this in anticipation of an upcoming trip, but the camera software wouldn't let me choose only the one lens the zoom lens was on. The instructions were minimal and didn't address this problem. The lens also seemed cheaply made and flimsy. When I tried to use it as a monocular, the image was not clear. I can't imagine it improving if I had managed to make it fit on the phone. I have since learned of another camera program other than the Apple camera app, Procamera, which will allow you to choose which lens to use, but it wouldn't have fixed the poor image quality. If you have an older iPhone or Android with a single lens it might work.

This telescopic lens does work, however it gives images a bit of a prism effect as seen in the sample images I posted. It also washes out the colors a bit. You can see the difference in the two images of the tree I posted. The blue sky one is without the telescope. Other than quality, it is fairly easy to use once you get everything lined up. I recommend practicing before you are ready to take pictures for real and using paint or a marker to mark your settings.

I'm a VERY amateur photographer. I purchased this hoping to get some long shots, and am very highly impressed. Very easy to use and we've been able to get some great shots! Certainly worth the money for an amateur.
