First immpression very well constructed. The inner diameter length slides out of the outer diameter piece then needs to be screwed into the bottom fitting, which btw has threads inside on both sides. np. The bellows does not extend and collapse like the entenna type. When your done and ready to put it away You need to"unscrew" the second half "fire end" and then screw it into the bottom fitting on the opposide side. when done just screw bottom half fitting back onto the bottom of top piece and give it couple of screws there it won,t seperate the from the top piece,and put it back into it's canvas sleeve pull top over securing it with the velecro tabs. Case is very well made heavy duty army greenish brown color. The lenth of the bellow is 25 7/16. This is an excellant piece, good especialy well suited for if you heat your home with wood. Sounds complicated when it's not.

I was Leary but it does work

You don't see relatively simple items built like this very often. I have numerous expandable (radio antenna) stokers and this thing is next level. Threads are smooth, and construction is superb. I absolutely love and recommend this item.

I works and its a solid party, but I ended up switching to something smaller and lighter.

Good craftsmanship, good material, all threads good, great sheath, it is long but works great, it screws together for twice as long, very hard to break this one
