We started cutting our hair at home during the pandemic and, realizing how much money it saves, have continued to do so.I figured since we’ll probably always do it, it was time to get a decent pair of scissors, at the very least, and stop using a garbage bag as a cape (yeh, I know… but what’s that saying, something about necessity being the father of creativity?).I’m pretty impressed with this kit. The scissors are super sharp and very comfortable. There is an adjustable screw for tightness, which I like because both my partner and I need a slightly different tension when using.Both the scissors and the thinning shears work very well.The brush is ok, not the greatest quality and I prefer a longer handle, but it does the job.The combs are average, nothing exceptional but they’re combs and they work as they should.There’s also a barber cape (hurray, no more garbage bags!), a microfiber cleaning cloth, two long hair clips, and four plastic hair ties. It all fits nicely and conveniently in a zippered bag which I love, because it keeps everything together.The cape is a thin nylon material and can be adjusted for size.For the current price of $9.97, I am more than impressed. Considering one hair cut at the salon starts at $30 plus tip, this amounts to huge savings if you’re ok with cutting your hair at home.Since I am not a professional hair stylist, I can’t say whether these are good for those of you who are, but if you’re looking for an at-home kit, this is terrific.

Exactly as pictured, and easy to use right out of the kit. I was using them literally within about 10 minutes of them being delivered, which gave me a great chance to judge the quality. My favorite scissors are the texturing/thinning shears. I found them to be comfortable, sharp and light, and fit my fingers well.The clips, bands, brush, combs and cap are great additions to the two shears and with what you get, you can give haircuts to men or women and children, and even your pet dog if you wish. It's a great little kit and at that price point, you simply can't wrong.

The sheers that they provided was decently good. It worked fine on curly hair. I got this for my brother who wanted to start cutting hair as a hobby and these were great. The drape wasnt the best quality but did the job as needed.

I suppose for the price it's an alright kit. My biggest issue is that everything doesn't fit into the case, but on top of this, the case is garbage. Like the zipper feels like it's going to break with closing just what arrived in the case. Not a huge fan. But, you get what you pay for.

This shear set offers so much. It has everything you need if you are a beginner haircutter, professional, cutting children’s hair, or just need a small trim. It has nice cutting shears and thinning shears. They have gold accents. It comes with a comb and a hair thinning comb. It also includes hair ties and a few hairpins. It has a cape and a small hair sweep brush. In also includes a nice storage bag for all included. The scissors are sharp. This set cannot be beat especially at the price point! This set would also be a nice gift. You can’t go wrong with this set. Recommended.

The shears set is exactly what I was looking for to help give better trims. The gold on the shears gives it a nice touch and made me feel like they were superior because of this. The shears were very sharp.

This kit has it all.We got this to cut my 2 year old's hair who just won't sit still at a barber shop.It's got everything you need and more!
