This dash cam is really advanced device with tonnes of features. I really like the following:- Front 4K camera with really clear footage- Rear 1080P camera with good quality footage- 3.5" LCD screen- Built-in WiFi and by connecting your smartphone using the WiFi you can view and transfer recordings.- Built-in GPS to track your location and monitor speed.- 170° wide angle field of view- Loop recording, time-lapse recording, and motion detection recording.- Night vision and HDR technology- Parking monitoring to record and incidents that happen to your vehicle at any time.- data storage card included and the device takes up to 512 gb if you wanted to upgrade to a bigger card- can be wired to the 12v slot or hardwiredWith so many poor drivers about, this is an essential piece of equipment in my opinion. Just remember it records everything you are doing too, so keep your own driving up to standard too!

I won’t go over all the technical details as that’s all in the description so I’ll go straight to my experience.Firstly, it wasn’t easy to find a good spot for it in my car (BMW 3 series).Couldn’t place it behind the mirror due to rain sensors, etc so it had to be placed more into the passenger side.It’s large in length. So it definitely does obstruct some of your view as it sticks down a lot, it isn’t as compact as some of the other ones. If you have a small car, this could be a major problem. If you have a van/truck/etc then not so much.I personally dislike anything around my rear view mirror, never use any air fresheners there, etc so this was very frustrating actually to be there.The second bit was location of physical buttons. It doesn’t come with a little bluetooth trigger for when you’d like to protect a video so you need to press a button on the main device and the buttons don’t face you. They’re all located underneath the camera.Therefore you’ll need to remember exactly where the button is in order to hit the correct one or read the display that does tell you what the buttons are, but you still need to go below device to actually find it and press it.If you’ll use it a lot, probably a non-issue, but if you’re not a trigger happy person, this might lead you to start looking at the camera instead of the road and you know the rest…In terms of performance, it performed just fine. It provides a good enough recording quality to have a good idea about how a situation on a road came to be if ever needed an evidence. I just really didn’t enjoy having something so large on the windscreen, so if you’re like that too, I’d suggest looking at something of a much smaller profile.

Picking the right dashcam can be daunting, especially for budget-conscious drivers like myself. After a few days of some research and comparison I found this 'ONDASHCAM'.. dash cam. Here's a little breakdown of what I found out so far, hope it'll be helpful for you:- it boasts sharp day/night vision, pretty easy installation - the included manual is very straightforward, crystal clear video footage - day or night, the camera captures all the crucial details.There is some room for improvement of course - downloading footage via Wi-fi can be slow so consider connecting to a computer for faster transfers - but its not really a downside, hence I gave this camera 5 stars. For budget-conscious drivers - considering it captures excellent quality video and has easy setup - and I thinks its a solid choice for peace of mind on the road. While it may not have all the bells and whistles of pricier models, this 'Ondashcam' model offers excellent value. I understand the appeal of fancier and more expensive models with advanced features, however if you prioritize essentials at an affordable price, this camera is a clear winner. Hope this helps.

Having both front and rear cameras is almost essential now a days, as is the night vision / low light capability. The large 3-inch LCD screen makes it simple and easy to view the footage from the car if needed. Installation is simple, but recommend asking a professional detailed or car AV technician if needed. Value wise, it’s not the cheapest dash cam, but the lens and video is very clear. The appearance is good, but it is quite large, this can be a plus if you want other road users to know you’ve got a dash cam installed, but if not, perhaps consider a more discrete/ smaller dash cam.

ONDASHCAM Dash Cam 4K.Having only used one other dash cam previously I have found this one much simpler to fit and set up.The stand outs for me are the very wide angle lens, crystal sharp day and night video quality especially at this price point.This comes with a 32gb memory card but you can updrade to a 512gb card but to be getting going with 32gb is fine, many companies don't even supply a memory card, so immediately there is normally an extra cost to the buyer, not with this one though.I haven't fitted the rear camera as yet as I am weighing up whether to have this dash cam hardwired (hardwire kit is included), this will then offer 24hr monitoring of your vehicle and other benefits.Overall, I am really pleased with this dash cam, it doesn't offer some things that much more expensive dash cams do but it certainly covers the basics and beyond and does an excellent job, it is fairly idiot proof to fit and use.

This dash cam has two cameras, a 4k front camera with a wide angle lens and a 1080p rear camera. Of course high resolution is no guarantee of quality, it also depends on the optics, sensor quality and compression, fortunately it seems to deliver on all these fronts. The hardware seems to be well made and finished and the kit includes everything that is needed to install it.Unfortunately I can't install mine at the moment as I am about to swap my car and don't want to put it in my current car only to take it all out and re-install in another car. But I have tried out the cameras and I am very impressed by the quality, but I haven't been able to test the GPS functionality.The manual is very comprehensive and even includes a link to a video on how to route the cables through the trim of the car.I have taken a star off because of a couple of points, firstly the price is quite high, there are similar systems from better known brands for lower prices and secondly because while it is nice to have a micro-sd included, a larger capacity one is almost essential if you want to be able to store more than a short journey's worth on the card.So, while I think that this will be a very useful accessory for my car, it isn't quite perfect, but very close

I've been using this dash cam for a few weeks now, and the video quality is simply outstanding. The front and rear cameras provide complete coverage, and the night vision is impressively clear. The included 64GB card and 3-inch LCD screen make it easy to review footage on the go. Overall, a reliable and high-performing dash cam.
