excellent produt, solidly built, very durable, and the lanyard fits someone with very large wrists, also great price.

We just haven't gone fishing yet to use this fish grabber. I am sure we will soon and it will work well on the Northern Pike that we like to catch. You know, those fish with a million very sharp teeth that like to cut your hands. It looks good and it feels just fine so we expect it to work as well.

Bought it as a Christmas gift for my son. He loves it and it works as advertised. Good product.

Not as advertised so I returned it. Did not contain the scale.

I purchased and used this gripper for 1 week. After 2 days in fresh water, the tape measure rusted and the paint all flaked off.I also lost a large Northern Pike because any fish over 10 lbs is not captured completely because the gripper jaws only "overlap" by 1/8" and there is also a 1/16" gap in the jaws side-to-side. So there is only 1/16" that is holding the fish!I believe this product needs better quality control in manufacturing and wish I could send it back for a full refund.

Read the fine print. Works fine for what it was, but the title can be confusing. I thought I was ordering a grip tool that had a built in scale... This is not the case at all. They sell the gripper, they sell a scale, and they sell them under the same page for whatever reason, as if it was interchangeable, but they are two totally different devices. Yes I should have read closer, but I seek feel misled and hope others don't make the same mistake.

I have owned this for over a year now and these grippers have been awesome. They hold the fish by the mouth firmly, reducing your chances of getting hooked when removing hooks. Also, I love the weight scale engraved on the side.
