READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU BUY
I want to start out by saying that this in no way is a fitness tracker, if you are into fitness in any way and have an Apple Watch continue to use your Apple Watch. If you are curious about your sleep, stress, your period cycle I would say this is a good purchase, and get the ring sizing kit. Also make sure you check with your insurance provider — they might just cover this.1. Sleep- this really goes into detail about how much lite, deep, and REM sleep, this also calculates how long it takes you to fall asleep, your movements throughout the night, a part of this calculates your readiness (will talk about that at the end)2. Live Heart Rate - this along with the “daytime stress feature (will do into that on 3), you can actually monitor your heart rate and do a “live” heart rate and actually feel the beats per minute, it calculates your HR in 30 minute increments. This will measure your HR at night (and it kinda calls you out if you have an elevated HR from drinking alcohol)3. Daytime stress - the app/ ring is able to calculate your HR based on stress (this will take a couple of weeks to figure out). It tells me when I’m in relaxed, engaged and stress stage, and the restored stage (how long it will take you to recover from being stressed) this has really been helpful for me especially since working from home. This plays into your Rediness score.4. Cycle Insights / Natural cycle- Ladies this one is for you if you are looking to come off hormonal birth control and/or looking to start a family or if you’re honestly just curious. I will say the more data that you provide the app on your last 6 periods the better it has predicting (but no worries if you don’t know it) will talk about the natural cycles app in a few. This will take your body temperature every day and create a graph, when you download the natural cycles app (which btw pairs wonderfully with the Oura ring) every morning you will open up the Oura ring app and allow everything to sync then it will transfer that data to your natural cycles app. There you will have Green Day’s ( your safe days for s*x), and red days when it’s not safe (unless looking to start a family I’m sure yours will be very different from mine). This will predict days of ovulation based on your body temp. And your est. next cycle. You will then fill out this form it will ask you if you’ve had s*x, bleeding (for period), LH test, ovulation symptoms and your overall “how are you feeling”. The more information you give the app the better.5. Your Readiness Score - basically everything I talked about sleep, HR, temperature, “activity” even though I don’t use it. I put my Apple Watch information into it” your stress, this calculates everything and gives you a readiness score to take on your day. It may give you advice to relax, call you out on your drinking “hey your HR was elevated did you consume alcohol or have a late light snack” sometimes it can tell you that you might be coming down with something, or that you can take the day on.I will say there are CONS— it’s a wellness ring, not a fitness ring. The app…… it’s $5.99 a month… for a ring that you pay $350 based on the ring and finish. Kind of annoying. This does scuff pretty easy (so if you wear this while working out get a ring protector). However the Pro’s outweigh the cons…. I’m able to learn a lot about my sleep I’ve got some PTSD/ insomnia from the military. I’ve been able to learn a lot about my stress and period tracking. I think this was very much worth the purchase (I did hold off for a year).

If you are on the fence, go for it.
Love, love, love it. (Gen3, rose gold) Never got into the watches and such, but appreciate the basic information about sleep, activity, etc. However, it has more than just that - Aura shares sleep study info that you can dive into and get more info as well as other insights. As it say, try it for the 24 hrs- I tried it on 3 fingers until I found the right one where I don't feel it or it interferes. It does go at least 4-5 days without a charge. And never have a connection issue with my pixel.I have had the rose gold for over 6 months and it still looks great. I did buy protectors and will put them on, just in case. The only down side I have found is that I read every night and it doesn't like my "latency"- ie the time it takes for me to fall asleep. It dings my sleep score each night. :(

Small but Mighty—My Favorite Wellness Tool 💍✨
I’ve been using my Oura Ring for a while now and I’m genuinely obsessed. It’s sleek, minimal, and so easy to wear that I forget I even have it on—but the data it gives me is next level. I especially love the sleep tracking—it’s helped me build better habits and actually understand how I’m resting. The activity tracking is equally helpful and doesn’t feel overwhelming or judgmental. Just smart, intuitive insights that make me feel more in tune with my body every day.

nice
I really like the ring for the health information I get especially the sleep info. The one thing I don't like it the step counter. I've been using the Apple Heart health on my phone and compared both for about 3 weeks now and find the ring isn't as accurate for steps. If your walking your dog and the are doesn't swing or if your shopping and holding the cart your numbers aren't going to be accurate. also if you work a lot using your hands (cashier, stocker) it reads these motions as walking. I've had a 1500-3500 step count variant a lot between the ring and phone. otherwise I love this product and hope the work this issue out for the future generation rings or an update for this ring.

Exceptional Tool for Health Insights
The media could not be loaded. I had no idea how fabulous this tool was! I am thrilled with my purchase of this Oura 3 Heritage ring. It has provided invaluable insights into my health patterns. (I’ve had it for exactly one week now.)I had been concerned about sleep efficiency especially since apnea runs in my family. The amount of information it provides is exceptional: time asleep, breathing and oxygen levels, if there are any interruptions in breath - they would be noted and if there are none, that is also clear…. heart rate + variability, and so much more. All without having to wear a bulky watch! I still use my watch to track workouts but I am now just using my Oura app to see it all (they communicate so it uploads effortlessly).I had one night when I didn’t sleep much or well (it was hot + I had a lot on my mind) and it said to take it easy the next day. Just the validation of one’s sleep deprivation is cool! So many of us just push on through. This little app actually supports healthy choices such as resting on a day proceeding poor sleep. One of my favorite features is that you can put it on airplane mode at night while it still collects data. You just put it on your charging base upon wake up to shut off airplane mode/link your sleep data to the app.I have a cover on my ring too since I’d read about how easily it scratches. However, I may take it off as I’ve seen my friends rings and the more it scratches, the prettier it is! It patinas well. It actually looks better a few years old/scratched than brand new as the “gold” looks very bronze/fake.Very happy with my ring!
