Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Potting Mix, 16 qt. (2-Pack)

I purchased the “Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Potting Mix”. I remain consistently impressed by its high quality and effectiveness. This mix provides a balanced composition of topsoil, vermiculite, peat or wood shavings, and fertilizer provides excellent nourishment for my plants, resulting in robust and healthy growth. I particularly appreciate the moisture control feature and overall soil quality are particularly beneficial and offer great value. Thank you for providing such a high-quality product that offers great value. My plants are thriving thanks to this mix!

I have debated using this moisture control mix for several years and I am so glad I did this year-wish I had tried it sooner! It is definitely worth the extra cost, it saves SO much time and watering. We have had drought conditions the past 3 summers, and I had to water daily or every other day. This year, I can go a week or more without having to water all my containers. The only potted plants I have to water daily in these 90+ degree days are the ones I bought that were already planted and obviously the greenhouse did not use this type of mix because they dry out rapidly. I will never use anything else. The added miracle grow fertilizer is a big plus as the plants grew and filled out quickly

I have always used Miracle-Gro potting mix. The Moisture Control really helps in summer because of the moisture beads helping to keep moisture in the soil and more consistently moist. Better than adding moist beads because it works throughout without the mess. At years end, the roots of the plants have been so prolific throughout the entire pot of soil it makes it easy to remove.

Great product and easy to use. I had to repot y outside patio plants, and they are thriving with this soil. In Florida, we have had thunder storms and down pours, and also hot periods, with no rain, and this soil has kept the plants doing fine no matter what. There is no water log or excessive dryness when I check each day. They are also growing and looking healthier then ever.

I am using the Miracle-Gro Moisture Control potting mix in 8-gallon pots, following the seller's specifications. This mix nourishes plants for up to six months, allowing them to grow and bloom twice as fast. Its long-lasting moisture retention helps reduce the frequency of repotting or reapplication, which is helpful for busy gardeners. It is easy to use: fill one-third of a pot (with a drainage hole) with the mix, place the plant inside, cover it with more mix, and finally water thoroughly, letting it drain. As of now, I cannot rate the product based on actual plant growth results; I am sharing my impressions based on the mix's composition and high-quality ingredients. I may update this review later depending on whether the plants grow to twice their size as the seller claims, but for now, I rate it 4/5, which reflects an honest assessment and openness to future updates.

I love this Miracle Gro Moisture Control Potting Mix. It is a fantastic potting mix to use for all outdoor and indoor plants. When watering one’s plants it retains moisture without having to worry that you are overwatering. It has perlite in the mixture.

I used this for my fern, and it is pretty healthy. The drainage is great, and the size of the bag for money was awesome. My plant seems very healthy in this soil. I haven’t experienced any pests either.

Miracle-Gro worked even for my older plants. It pretty much brought them back to life. Perfect size for small plants.
