Warm well fitting loads of pockets my gardening coat!

This is the second jacket I've purchased from this seller, the first jacket I ordered was a size L in olive green, (I'm usually a medium but followed the sellers advice and ordered the next size up), this time I ordered an XL in Black as I want to wear a couple of layers underneath and use it through the winter and I'm going to order another one in a couple of weeks time in Brown (XL) , I'm totally sold on these jackets, the first one is still going strong after two years, these jackets are water repellent, very lightweight with handy pockets including a large and very useful back pocket, a well designed hood that covers your head and the sides of your face, when you don't need the hood you can simply roll it up and tuck it out of the way in the velcro flap, as one reviewer pointed out, the jacket material is a bit thin, however, this is supposed to be a lightweight tactical jacket, it follows therefore that the materials need to be warm but light with a certain amount of stretch, for me, these jackets tick all the boxes.You need to order the next size up, for a medium go large, for a large go extra large.If you want to wear a couple of thick layers underneath the jacket consider what size you're going to need before you order (I'm a medium but for my last order I had a size XL, two sizes up so I can wear a base layer, t-shirt and a jumper underneath.It will take a couple of weeks to arrive but they are very well packaged and I believe well worth the wait.Personally, I think they are brilliant and great value for money.

It's waterproof and wind-resistant and the hood extends forward of the forehead and cheeks to give good protection from rain. It seems well made and sturdy. I wear this while cycling and have been very happy with it. A nice feature is that it has zips under the armpits which can be opened to let cooling air into those hotspots! My only issue is that although it has no internal pockets (hence why I've only rated it four stars). I would have liked somewhere to put my phone. Having said that, the outside pockets are all fitted with zips. There is a pocket on each side of the waist, a pocket that goes right across the lower back (and it's sealed with a zip on each side) and two tiny pockets on the left arm (only big enough for keys or loose change) and one tiny pocket on the right arm. I'm 6' tall and took the advice of other reviewers and bought the largest size available. I'm glad I did. It is a good fit that lets me wear more layers underneath if necessary.

What you see is pretty much what you get. Don't expect a super jacket, it's not top price so it isn't going to be top quality. However, it still is a solid, robust jacket that serves it's purpose. Great for outdoor use, very good against water, keeps the wind out and keeps you fairly warm (still wear layers underneath). It is slightly uncomfortable and stiff at the start, but when it wears in it moulds to your body very well. Aesthetically, it isn't anything special either, looks like a fairly run of the mill jacket. If you are on the skinny side then I advise buying a small as the waist is fairly big making you look a lot like a lopsided muffin. But overall, it is a solid jacket so if you are looking to go tabbing (hiking) then it is a great jacket. p.s. to the manufacturers, stop putting so much bloody velcro everywhere:)) happy days

nice fitting jacket, kept me dry during a shower, nice fit too, flattering even.i like the vents at the rear and under arm.could be improved though: additional inside pockets or 2 breast pockets, would be nice esp if they were zipped too. (ok what i'm saying is somewhere for my wallet and phone as well as my hands, the 2 sides are fine though)the velcro wrist fastener is not great, it stopped getting grippy after a few uses. maybe a better velcro, or change the fastening method altogether for something more robust. there you go, a nice jacket but could be better... enjoy!

As a whole the jacket is not bad value for money. The look is great. It is light and has plenty of pockets of varying size. There are, however, a few issues;The stitching is not fantastic and has frayed completely under the arm in only a few weeks (as shown in the photo).It is not waterproof/splashproof in any way whatsoever. The only thing that stops you getting wet is the coat acting like a sponge and collecting water. To be fair though I did not but this as a wet whether coat so it is not an issue.The main issue is that of sizing. It is a bit of a gamble when buying this jacket as to whether yours will fit upon arrival. The only thing I can suggest is it is like buying from somewhere like Superdry where if you are a medium then you may need an XL.All in all I would probably buy this again and therefore it can't be all bad.

I really like the make up, comfort and overall flexibilty of the jacket BUT the main zip is terrible. This is the second I've purchased and both times had problems with the zip. Constantly sticks when trying to undo at the bottom, not great quality. This after only 3 weeks wearing so too late to return. Can Belloo or whoever supplies help?

for the price the quality seems ok but it amazes me when they give details of size fittings on the order page that don't match up to what you get when the order turns up, I implore you (especially considering how long it takes to get a swap) to buy big!I was concerned when purchasing this jacket that I would be drowned by it because I bought 1 size bigger than the size chart suggested (just in case) but when I tried it on it felt snug with just a t-shirt on ok now but I doubt it will fit when I put on jumper (sweater) in the winter.
